Rockminer is producing T1-BOX, based on ASICMiner released specs (X24).  It doesn't look like X24 however.  It's repackaged to be quiet and cool.

800Gh/s, 96 chips, 1000 Watts (due to chip density) 4 x 6 pin PCI-E
25cm x 25cm x 20cm, weight is 8KG  

price: $645 per unit or less (see below)

I feel a group-buy coming on!  Wish the power to gh was better though. :'(

If there's enough interest for a GB, I may be able to front the funds for 40 to get the GB ready.

Yes and shipping is via UPS.  shipping can be split into 8 units or more at no additional cost.
For example, a 40 unit order can be sent in 5 shipments, addresses can be different.

How quiet is it?  If the shipment can be split into 5 parts why isn't the minimum order 8?  Surely you are trusted enough for this?

I don't get it.  You are selling these or someone else?  Isn't it going through you anyways?  Or are you not guaranteeing delivery?   Also do you know the db rating on these?

At these prices, S3 are clearly the SUPERIOR choice, in ROI and quantity. These consume 20% more power as well. They must lower prices to be competitive.

This is a small initial batch production.  S3s are mass produced.

But, here's the math:

T1-RBOX
@40 units:
$645/800Gh/s = $0.80625 per Gh/s

@100 units:
$615/800Gh/s = $0.76875 per Gh/s

S3:
(.66 btc * $588) / 441 Gh/s = $0.88 Gh/s

It's also likely that they will hash at 820 actually, on average, and proper cooling will push it to 840. so the price per Gh would change more:
645/820=0.7865853658536585
615/820=0.75

Man, wish I had more BTC or even cash!

How is this GB coming along?  Interested.

The R3 box is ready to ship right now on the rockminer website for what works out to $0.79 per GHs if we call it 460 GHs which is minimum.  Was considering buying 2-4 more S3s but may give rockminer a shot, I just dont see how this T1 is worth the wait or price.

They now have specs up on website for the T-1.

Price looks comparable to other miners for sale right now. Would love to get my hands on 1 or 2 but don't have enough right now to order the minimum of 4 from Rockminer directly.
Noticed that Zoom has them listed on their site already but you can't actually add one to cart yet (yes I tried multiple times). Anyone run across a US reseller that has them in stock yet?

The price just increased from 4.6 BTC to 5.3 BTC.

It's better to buy the tube from the other canary group buy.
