The post count in my profile changed from a number to "leet".

When was this change implemented, and is it possible to change it back to a numerical value?

LOOOOL I laughed so fucking hard at this. Basically 1337 is leet. It's a stupid hacking term used by kids. Google it.

Number joke kind of like 420 or 69.

It's gone now, it appears for everyone that has a post count of 1337.

Yeah it's a little easter egg for simple machine forums, I believe it has got removed in the 2.x updates. Like mprep said it only appears for you when you have reached 1337 posts.

I know of another site that has a special rank for people who have 1337 posts. :D
Gimmick ranks can be fun - I wish this forum had more of them.

Oh wow, mind = blown. So this happens to a single post only, and coincidentally I caught it. Ironically, by the time I posted the screenshot, which is +1 to my post count, then it had already disappeared. No one else got to see it.



Yes, I'm fully aware of what 1337 is, as well as all the other h4x0r language. But I couldn't make the connection because I didn't keep tabs on what my post count was.

I wish they showed post count along with activity as the default, but I can see why they'd like to discourage infatuation with post count - so as to dispel spammers. I was unaware of my post count in my early days on this forum until I changed the setting to show posts as well by default.

They should make one for 420. After all, it is the lowest number divisible by 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7.

If you delete an old post everytime you create a new one, your post count will stay the same. You can remain leet forever.

Just delete your posts until you see leet in your postcount.

Turns out it wasn't removed.

I read the wiki:

"The term leet is also used as an adjective to describe formidable prowess or accomplishment..."

Mine are also showing leet, but what does it actually mean when we get to see it???

yes its a bug on the forum...you just need to post couple of posts after that
and the leet will dissapier,and i dont think you will receive for a while!!

As I said, it's already back to normal...
