I registered in 22 July so 14 days have passed, I have 19 posts. Shouldn't activity go to 19?
How are the 14 day period contabilized? Since you register then in increments of 14, 14 ,14 ,14.. etc?
or since the last post you posted 14 posts within this 14 day period? this is too complicated  ::)

What is activity?

    Activity = min(time * 14, posts)
    Increase activity by posting.
    Activity is updated every 30 minutes.
    Maximum of 14 activity every 2 weeks.

Does the 14 day increments happen starting by the time you register?

Like 22 july, 05 august, 20 august, 3 september... etc

You can make 14 posts inside these 14 day increments, and if you make more than 14 posts then the activity doesn't go up right?

if I make like 100 posts, will the activity go out automatically every 14 days until these 100 posts are divided in the 14 day increments?

It's like for your 2 week of "activity time" you got 1 activity everyday, for every posting you made. (Is it still confusing ? I think so :P)

Let's make it simple, just imagine 2 weeks contain 14 days and activity count is like 0/14.

 Your activity amount will increase along with your post but, what's make activity different with post is : the

max amount of activity is 14/14. and will reset after 2 weeks

It happens on a scheduled time slot. The next one happens on today or tomorrow. You can make more than 100 post but your activity will not increase once you have rises more than 14 post taken that you have reached the limit. The activity limit is dependent on the number of two active week. Therefore, if you post at least one for 3 two weeks period, you have 42 activity available for you to claim. To claim, you need to make 42 post or if your post count I'd higher than the activity, make one post and your activity will increase until it either hit the maximum available activity to claim or post limit. Whichever reach first. As said, they are limited so, even if you make 100 post now, you must make sure your activity limit is higher than 100 to make sure it increase by 100. If not, you must be active for a few two weeks period to claim it. Activity limit is raised only on two active weeks.

It can be higher. If you make 1 post per two weeks, you would have 13 activity points per two weeks. Once you post some posts, you can raise your activity immediately. Activity will never reset, it just builts up, it cannot be deducted, only to be used.

Nope.
The periods starts at the same time for everyone.
A new period starts whenever the unix time hits a multiple of 1210000.

Although that is only if you have accumulated uncredited posts in the weeks before (when you posted more than 14 times in a two-weeks period).

Otherwise, if I'm not mistaken, posting once in two weeks would only make the activity go higher by one point.

Posting after the new period starts would give you 14 extra activity point. Using one would leave you with 13 which you can either accumulate or post a lot of post and your activity would go up. I believe what he is trying to say is that he needs to post once per two weeks to accumulate 13 extra activity points.

Makes using these forums a real PITA. Posting restrictions, search restrictions, et al really annoy me, and put me off from contributing more.  :(

These restrictions will be gone really fast. I'd guess that in about two weeks you should not see them anymore, or there will be quite less prevalent at least.

you are in a second period now, you should be able to hop to 28 activity now.

maybe this people set a hg post or sex maximum 14 every 2 weeks to minimum spammer.

If these restrictions are removed, we will probably see terrible spamming in every sections and received 10 unsolicited PMs every day from new accounts.

The thing is you just have to wait 2 weeks to get your 14 activity ''rewarded'' IF having 14 posts in that 2 weeks right?

It wont raise to 60 unless you posted at least once in 4 or 5 two-week periods which you didn't do. The most you could get is 42 points, but you'll probably get 28.

is their is any condition is activity for newbie is different or activity for members are different because i am seeing some accounts have activity is less link 300 activity and 900 post and some accounts has 300 activity and 300 post so what this means ?

so we can get 30 activity a month maximum ?

No, it's the same for everyone. You can get a maximum of 14 activity every two week period that you have posted in.

In simple we can say that 30 activity a month max and thanks for helping me i this probl i will try to help all who did not understand this activity logic
