Hi everyone !

I am launching a new website on this next Thursday, it is called BitcoinHunt.eu (http://www.bitcoinhunt.eu) and you are all invited to have a look at it and participate, there are a few Bitcoins to win and I hope to make frequent games to make you win many more Bitcoins !

BitcoinHunt.eu is a web game where you have to think and be smart to be the first to take a Bitcoin treasure.
A new hunt is published a few days after the current hunt is finished, each hunt starts with 0.1 BTC in its treasure !

Basically how it works is, you get different riddles and you try to figure out a Brainwallet key from those. If you find the passphrase the balance on wallet is yours.

Each game starts with 0.1 BTC to win and can grow bigger

Nice puzzle, trying to figure out the solution  :) has anyone won so far?

Cool project how are you funding it?

You can buy hints. Without hints it's probably near impossible to solve  :'(

Tried to solve any of the 10... impossible to solve without hints :(

I solved 5 without hints, but the game is hard  :)

Anyone wants to buy some answers?  (1,2,3,6,7,8)  :D (is this allowed?  ???)

Solved 4 in 10 minutes. Some aren't as easy.

It's founded on my own funds by the moment, i'm trying to figure out a good difficulty ratio so I can make enough btc with hints money and not to have to fund next ones by myself ;-)

Next "hunts" will be less litteral, maybe i'll add some crypto stuff, or pictures taking you on a journey on the internet to find answers...

We can use escrow.. in the worst case the escrow runs off with the money.

Next one will be superhard so he needs more time. Also he didn't get as much money from hints so I assume he must find a better business model to fund it.

:-) Next one is being prepared, it takes time to create and think out the enigmas ;-) I'll post it next week (I do this on my free time).
Buisness model should not change, but yes, difficulty will be higher. I'm thinking of riddles in a new point of view, like russian dolls... I'll be exciting but I can't post any countdown yet since my week end will be super busy (cousin's wedding on saturday etc etc...)

Maybe I'm doing my math wrong... but can't someone just go through and buy all the hints and still make a profit?

Just cos you buying a hint, doesn't mean you are gonna win it. A hint might help you find the answer but its not a guarantee.

Everyone should buy all the hints then we have more rounds  :D

I missed the action for the first hunt but let's see about the new one on midnight!

The sole discussion on the interesting points raised recently "can't make a profit by buying all hints?" --- "just because you buy hints doesn't mean you'll get it" is also exciting in the theoretical sense. Having a hint is neither a necessary, most likely not a sufficient condition for you to get the right answer!

The new Bitcoin Hunt is online, prize reward starts at 0.1 BTC.                        
                        
If you are new to this, basically it works like this :                        
- 10 riddles/enigmas to solve to get different part of a Brainwallet passphrase                        
- A few hints, helpful but not mandatory to help you on each part of the game                        
- If you get every part of the game, you get the whole brainwallet passphrase, and the balance on the bitcoin address is yours.

Something appears to be wrong with answer #1. I have tried all possible options and nothing is working. Are you sure that there isn't a spelling error in your answer? Or maybe I am missing something.

OP has really stepped this game up a notch. I spent about 4 hours on question 3 last night, until eventually my brain gave up. It almost exploded. I guess im just not smart enough for this game. Although I did manage to get 3 out of the 10 answers correct.

Added a statistics page to keep track of the game...

If anyone wants the answer to question 1, PM me, 0.0001 BTC   :)

Or just look at page 2 of this thread... some1 wrote the answer already.

By the way, your stats page is not working properly.

If 68 people have already gotten the answer to part 1, how can there only be 59 people who have 1 part solved?   ???

You misunderstood the statistics; in your example: 68 people have found part 1 and 59 people have found 1 part. That's different. Not everyone that found one part has found part number one.
