Title: Complete newbie, need help with gui miner/cl device Post by: sullivanwhite on August 06, 2014, 04:31:57 AM Hey guys, literally just started bitcoin and everything maybe less than an hour ago and I'm trying to figure out how to get everything running smoothly but I don't believe I have a cl device for gui miner to run, other than everything looks good. Could someone please link me to a download for a cl device or give me step by step of how to move forward with collecting bitcoins?

Also what is "cl device"? Are you looking for OpenCL? Be warned that it is very likely you will be mining at loss. If your CPU and GPU are dated and do not support OpenCL, you can't mine with them at all. It hurt me to stop GPU mining. But now i only mine asics because of profit.
