Title: Why don't any altcoins have fully functioning iOS wallets?
Post by: Joesixpack9000 on August 06, 2014, 09:43:33 AM
Just find it weird, that no altcoins but bitcoin have fully functioning iOS wallets that communicates directly with the blockchain.

All I've seen are read-only wallets, and the web/centralized versions.

What's going on here?

But bitcoin has plenty there now?

And can't dev teams just host it on their websites for their community to download? I'm under the impression that it's a technological hurdle currently.

AppleByte, the crypto supporting the arts has one. The online wallet is based of the coinpunk source, which was designed to give BTC capability to the iPhone, even when Apple was not allowing it. Once you login with your browser from your phone, the mobile version works just like an app.

i was going to say because Apple is going to go bankrupt.

their business model is tied to the  "we hope you stay a retard" system.

but all indicators and charts seem to point a moderate decline in social retardation.

so this does not bode well for Apple.
