Not saying it is a bad thing.  If he was really BCnext then he would be a good public face, but obviously most crypto developers try to remain anonymous to avoid the securities law.  But the understanding here is that a lot of websites reporting him as being the founder of NxT is a misprint (he's the creator of SAE which is a different thing).

Hmmm...interesting surmise. Is Sergey Nazarov Russian? If so, Cryptogeeks' guess would jibe with BCNext leaving because he was afraid of being tracked down by the authorities.

Secureae is basically a web based platform that you can use to buy assets with bitcoin without downloading the client.

It uses Nxt AE. One of the benefits of SecureAE is that users can trade online without download the blockchian and wallet. It also provides many more services like 100+ smart contracts to users. It is a new age financial service platform.

Y'know, I really do believe that the Nxt devs and side-devs will make Nxt fully competitive with Etherium by the time the latter launches. The Etherium "dream team" spent too much time moving at committee speed - "we're off like a herd of turtles" -  and their original announcement back in January was widely off-putting (albeit unintentionally.)

Which is growing quickly for good reason and talented coin developers should seriously consider joining.

To answer folks questions about Secure Asset Exchange https://trade.secureae.com/; we give people an easy two step process to buy any asset on the Nxt Decentralized exchange with Bitcoin.

It takes 20 seconds to register because we randomly generate a secret phrase for you (we never receive your secret phrase at any point, it is randomly generated) and then all you have to do is click on Buy and receive a unique Bitcoin address for that Buy order's creation, sending Bitcoin will automatically generate the buy order in the Nxt Decentralized Exchange at an optimized market price, after which you receive ownership of the asset when the order is filled by the Nxt decentralized exchange which runs entirely on the Nxt nodes; we don't even have an "exchange server" only an Nxt node. All this happens without us having your password in any central system at any point :)

The Nxt decentralized exchange is truly amazing from a technological perspective and is part of what I will be speaking about at Airconf; in many people's opinion it is the first large scale implementation of an autonomous on-the-blockchain smart contract, allowing the creation of 200+ truly decentralized assets since May 12th, with 3 added daily and 12,000+ wholly autonomous on-the-blockchain exchanges of ownership happening since launch.

By putting buy/sell orders into a pending state that also locks in the associated amounts of the order, this pending state transaction then waits for another on-the-blockchain event like a matching buy/sell order, once certain conditions are met on-the-blockchain the Nxt blockchain's matching engine executes the exchange on the networks nodes, at the protocol level. Really revolutionary stuff for trustless secure ownership and truly decentralized exchange of that ownership.
