I got the $20 gift coupon from the BipolarBob, but I'm new to steam and thinking about what game to buy, since there are many options and I don't plan to put more money on my account(I'm happy with torrents and stuff).

So any sugestion about what game to buy? Specially games that offer good advantage if you have non-pirated versions of them.


Also I don't plan to play in multiplayer too much.

I'd say get Counter-Strike. It costs $10. And with the rest $10 you can buy some other game like Garry's Mod.

counterstrike is the best on stream, unless you want to buy fallout

Go for fallout, counterstrike or starcraft.

depend if you want a single player only or multiplayer also game, personally i find unepic to be a great game

Starcraft is a Bnet game. Good suggestion though I am really loving Starcraft. Also Hearthstone, but that game is free.

Yeah, I think I bought that bundle a couple of years ago when I got a new computer in 2007... Never played the whole thing though, though (HL2) And I soon learned that those shooters aren't my thing, anyways...

Counter strike is the best game

Wait for winter deals and buy 5 games for that price.

If you ask me , the best game under 20 $ is Counter Strike 1.6 it cost only 7$ and its great game ! I love it !

Try Dota 2, it's free and basicly created a videogame genere.

That's kinda wrong.
DotA was the truly first MOBA game, while who really gave that name to this sub-genre of RTS was Riot Games when they already launched League o Legends. Today MOBA is a hyped game genre, where you can see a race from everywhere to get a good MOBA game into the same mainstream as LoL(DotA 2, Smite and Heroes of the Storm).

The best of all in DotA 2 is its tutorial. It's really simple, but give you all the mechanics of the game. Although you may want single player games, always remember that you can play with bots locally.

You can buy Garry's Mod, there are lots of things to do in it, it's better if you have friends to play with but some things require Counter Strike: Source, so i recommend buying Css and Gmod together.

There's a new killing floor coming out? thats going to be amazing just like the first one.

Garrys Mod, it's awesome with a bunch of different game modes that you can play with your friends or randoms.

I am excited as well. I hear that in Killing Floor 2 they want to create the most advanced gore system in games history, something similar to Soldier of fortune gore system when you can chop enemies almost everywhere. If you want to pick something really good just wait for Steam sale and you would be able to buy couple of great games for 20$...

Yup it should be ready this year. They improved the models and you'll be able to rip off body parts :)

yeah i like scary game, but they must be fps also, i don't like helpless characters
