Title: Is PrimeDice Rigged ?
Post by: SpanishSoldier on August 08, 2014, 10:58:40 AM
I was shocked to see that PRC Dice, the new competitor to Prime Dice, claims so...

@RocketSingh
Sure: I'm saying that I could not consistently make 400 quality posts a month.
I would inevitably not sound like "me" i.e. not writing like I am writing normally because I'd feel pressured to make the maximum # of posts to get the max payout.
You can see these kind of posts a lot on Bitcointalk. You can really see that these guys just post *something* to get their counter up.
Even if you were online 24/7 you wouldn't have an opinion on everything, right?

@HarHarHar9965
Out of all the people that message me or hit me up on chat or wherever <5 have requested that. That is the majority.
As long as we have enough participants there is no reason to change it. I have exactly laid out why I think it's senseless anyway.
The "give me free money fast" guys can go advertise some ponzi if they like to.
I'd rather have a stable, responsive team I can rely on.

@acs267
If you don't just spam but are a normal user that does more than 50 quality posts a month. Then you should definitely join. See ^ for my view on posting like a madman.
Regarding trust: The first payment is due on the 1st.
Also, I really didn't want to bring this up and it's not because of competition but only for getting this straight: There are rumors around that PD has been rigged at the beginning. So much for trust.
AlsoČ, Stunna's campaign is automated and I don't even want to think about how many people try to cheat the system. People have even tried to scam me on PMs before.
Again, we are about being stable and reliable.

@zarton I welcome you to the team! Confirmed.

@pawel7777 Thanks for the support! You are right, there are also people that are not just into the free money but also want to support PRC as a site. We're absolutely superior to PD, objectively. Feel free to compare. We're just not as known yet and that's what this campaign is for.

Cheers

One site bashing another just to get more views. That's some scummy shit to pull.

Shock horror! a rival site trying to spread shit? Do you have any actual evidence of this or do you just believe everything someone says without any proof?

I have never once said anything bad about PD. I don't know why you felt the need to quote random people who do not work for prc

Some guy claimed PRC was to be trusted less than PD.
I replied that numerous people claim PD has been rigged in the beginning and it's all over the net too. (just google it ffs) "So much for trust"

I've never claimed anything but clearly called it what it is, a rumor.

Nothing more to see.
Jesus.

To me all online casinos are tinkered with to be as profitable as possible for the owner so why do you care so much?

Who actually said that because it looks like @acs267 did who is on PD, though I'm thinking he didnt actually say that given the first part.

@DubFX There are even people talking about how to cheat them on public forums. If anyone believes they can truly check a gazillion posts then I wish them good luck.

Nothing to see here, move along.

As far as I can tell, it's just a competitor basically bashing PD with no proof or basis to do so.  This is all assuming you change the client seed before big rolls :)

Well, that sucks then and Stunna should search for that. I'm with PD around 8 months and never ever cheated.

Disappointing FUD.

I understand it's in your best interest to spread random untrue facts about us like this, but at least have some sort of proof (Other than "rumor has it...")

 :Edited

In the same exact vein as OP/May I can point to plenty of people that would claim PRC is rigged or untrustworthy due to the fact that they are trailing expected profit and could be playing against their investors and how they handled the Sjess situation. However, I would never make such claims or convince myself that the former is true without solid evidence.

The only way this can be proven is that Dice sites show there control panel today and tommorrow too two trusted forum members no way affiliated with them, just like an Audit Company would do.

Because a cheater would publicly admit it LOL.

Not needed, a proper, provably fair implementation is more than enough. Of course a site can still run with your money but currently there is technically no way around that. (just like you have to trust your real world bank, except it will be regulated while bitcoin is not)

but at least have some sort of proof (Other than "rumor has it...") so you don't look completely stupid.
Thanks for being offensive, very professional.

Nobody spread anything. Some dude claimed PRC was to be less trusted. I've replied that PD's image is not as squeaky clean as he wanted to portray it. It's been clearly called a rumor. That's all there's to it.
I don't care about PD. I don't care about it possibly being rigged in the beginning. I do care about some dude saying we're to be trusted less than PD though when a simple websearch yields accusations from multiple different sources. Of course it could be complete bull but it clearly shows that the general opinion is split and the original dude's claim wrong.

It later became obvious that the guy insulting PRC was just trolling, but sadly he deleted his posts and that part of the thread is a mess now.

If you get offended by being called stupid best not to post stupid shit. If we're going by a simple websearch as evidence then there's a lot of accusations that the world is being run by reptilian overlords, but they're nonsense, as is these claims. I'm sure there will be threads on here and elsewhere from sore losers, scammers and trolls accusing you of the same stuff fairly soon. And I don't think a few unbacked accusations accounts to a 'general split opinion' on PD. 99% of users here would probably have nothing but great things to say both about PD and Stunna and PD is probably one of if not the the most trusted and respected dicesites out there at the moment.

Stunna, you did the same thing to LN and me, so you should shut up!

You gave me negative trust on day 1 of LN launch without any proof, spreading false shit around because LN looks better then your site and you couldn't stand real competition.

So yes, it's nice seeing post like this appearing.

Prime dice has no reason to rig, they have a house edge and maximum payout so to not go bankrupt on a bad run.   They have a decent user base, rigging is just illogical at this point.

I remember back in my poker days where people would constantly claim pokerstars was rigged, hahaha same thing here.

OP did not say PD is rigged. Someone else made that false claim and OP quoted it.

I never said so either. A troll came over and started to argue about reputation that's all.
Sadly it's not possible to read the whole thing to understand it since posts have been deleted, so OP is quoting something entirely out of context.

@SpanishSoldier I work with Dean, I help him with quite a few things. I'm not a fanboy like most of stunna's guys. He is just the most trustworthy and responsive person in the scene and that's why I stick to PRC. It doesn't stop me from criticizing stuff though - and he values opinions.

You kind of do deserve the negative trust. I went over on your website and got disappointed, very rigged site.
