Hey guys, I was just messing around with the price of bitcoin because I don’t have much to do in my work.
So I picked up the last three bubble prices and see that in the first bubble, bitcoin price went up around 3000%, from 1 to 30 USD.
The second bubble, the price got at 200 from 10, so it was around 2000%.
The last bubble the price went to 1000 from 100, around 1000%.

I think the next bubble will be at 600% - 750%, I picked up the prices from the last bubble and multiplied by this percentage just to see how it will be.

Probably the value won't reach that price because there's a huge difference in market cap between increasing from 100$ to 1000$ and from 1000$ to 10000$.

There's also a huge difference in market cap between increasing from $1 to $30 and from $100 to $1000.

Interesting that you're forecasting a rise to ~$1800 this evening when we all know that won't happen. :) Your model based upon the current price would have to spell out a rise to about $4k instead of where you're at in 2015.

That's some nice work you did there! But I believe most people will shun you for not factoring in enough parameters. The time bubbles take to occur seems to get longer and longer every time. Also I don't think that the bubbles will be that big given the increased price we have nowadays compared to those days.

And all the coins that aren't being bought and sold still change in price which changes the market cap as if they were being traded. Not like we really had 10 billion come into the market last year to push it up that high. N yeah people will be pissed you didn't push it over a bit cuz it can't go that high that fast in many people's eyes, but I think the overall number works well. Might have to wait 6 more months but honestly who cares if it takes 3 weeks or a year? It's a long term game anyway. Hold fast!

2016 is the bitcoin year, because the block value will halve

The block reward. But yeah, I guess this will lead to another spike or bubble. But even more important is the actual adoption and traction Bitcoin can achieve in the real economy and minds of people. We need that number to grow!!!

Whoa, for a second there I thought you had access to future Bitcoin prices!!! That would be awesome, but why would you share them, rather than just profit on your own!!?? But yeah, that seems like a very well done forecast and I think you may be spot on with it! Billions, baby!

Hey pretty cool! I noticed this as well--it's one of the reasons I'm accumulating as much LTC as possible.

If this is to happen then ok but more to come in 2016 I guest.
Anyway seem like price will pop but nice prediction for next year.

I think i reasonable, next bubble could be 600USD to 3500USD. Big question is if now or next year. They say users of BTC come with like 3 months delay, when there is something important happen. i did not see anything happen so far to do that so  next bubble will not be in next 3 months for sure.

I think that 2016 will be a memorable year for bitcoins, maybe we will reach the long awaited exponential growth of the S curve.

Second: 2000%
Third: 1000%
Fourth: 0000%

this implies that bitcoin A: started trading at $1 and B: there have been only three 'bubbles'. both are not really accurate. numbers for the percentages are kind of cherry picked, your rally from 10 to 200, was 250. the rally from 1 to 30 started at like .005. i think there were like 6 rally periods now.

I think the block subsidy halving should slow down the inflation rate of bitcoin but would not necessarily increase the price.

Those calculations man... what are you even doing. But I won't judge, nobody can predict what bitcoin can do so your guess is as good as mine is as good as a more experienced day trader.

What about the time in between though? You're saying it's going to hover around $600 till 2015? Or it's going to go from 600 (now) to some wild number and crash down 620 again?

I'm guessing before the end of 2014, the price would at least double, or hit $1000. Maybe more. Who knows? No one really knows. It's just a guess.

That's an interesting 'forecast' or rather speculation you've done there. I know it's merely the previous price adapted to the new level we are at now, but it will be interesting to see how this prediction will hold up after a year or two!
