Question is which lists and filters are you using. It depends on which sites or filters the AdBlocker is configured, so it can actually filter the sites correctly. Did you maybe set custom filters that filter certain frames or any wildcards?

I'm using AdblockPlus on Firefox from a while now, never had any such problems as shown on pics you shared , although some sites force me to disable adblock [mostly porn] but there's always an alternate.
Also you can use Imgur to directly post images on thread instead of an external link.

Sometimes I think webmasters deliberately mess with the code to make adblock block legitimate images along with the ads, like Bitcointalk for instancethis is just funny though because all it will mean is people won't bother showing up at their websites if they're forced to be annoyed by ads. I don't have that much of problem with Bitcointalk though because they're just fairly harmless static images rather than pop ups or those fucking annoying .gif banners etc.

You'd be better off using AdBlock Edge (fork of AdBlock Plus), it doesn't allow any sponsored ads like the normal version.

Doesn't seem to be available for Chrome though :(

AddBlock doesn't filter all sites, this is why some people complaim about it.

Do a research and you will find it is true and the details
