People need to understand that collateral needs to be provided for any type/amount of loan. Because otherwise a person could make a ton of accounts and ask for $4 loans without collateral and rip everyone off multiple times it's happened and will probably happen again.

99 percent of these micro loans are for gambling. Every once in a while you get someone that is short by a few satoshis for shipping or something like that, but that is the exception, not the rule.
