Title: Re: [FS] 8U Quiet Server Cabinet Post by: lyth0s on August 13, 2014, 07:29:40 AM Yeah looks really, really sweet. I also dig that exhaust port...I can only imagine how hot those things will get. TBH though, I wonder how many people will actually be placing those miners in data centers due to the 2000W+ power draw

Thanks.Hmmmm, if you want the miners to be mounted "tail up", yes you could rotate the cabinet onto its front, but then I'd recommend flipping the rear door, or a redesign of the rear door (exhaust port directly on the back door sheeting). Yeah looks really, really sweet. I also dig that exhaust port...I can only imagine how hot those things will get. TBH though, I wonder how many people will actually be placing those miners in data centers due to the 2000W+ power draw Yeah, the unfortunate higher-than-expected power draw of the SP30 is a disappointment. Title: Re: [FS] 8U Quiet Server Cabinet Post by: Soros Shorts on September 05, 2014, 12:27:04 AM Nice! If I were buying this I would also ask for optional 1U blanking plates to be made. That way if there were any empty space above the miners you could use the plates to block it off so that the inside of the case would be split into a hot side and a cold side.
I have SP30's but unfortunately I am not running them at home so I have no need for this case. |
