Title: Gridseed dual miner 9GH/s 350KH/s Bitcoin/Litecoin
Post by: shayr on August 11, 2014, 02:29:07 PM
Hello

I am interested in buying this machine, and found it for 33 Euro with shipping. The miner is second hand
but buyer says its in good condition and also have only good feedback (listing is on ebay).

Would like your thoughts if its worth the money.

Thanks in advance,
Shay

Not worth at all, you are better off buying bitcoin and litecoin with the money... You will get more in the lifetime of the gridseed...

Wow, this forum is quick.

First, thanks for the super quick response.

Second, based on your answer, I am a bit confused.

I would like to start mining as a hobby first and "get into" the mining trend, but for now my budget is not big.
It seems from your answer and other posts I read on the forum that if you don't have a big budget, you will never
recuperate what you invested (I know that in order to earn money it's necessary to spend some, but this seems
ridiculous). So, what would you suggest for a starting miner based on this? Buying bitcoins is out of the question (don't
have the money for it), and Litecoin is talked about in this forum as a dead currency. Is there any hope at all for miners
joining these days? Or should I just give up on mining altogether?

Thanks,
Shay

I live in Italy, the price of shipment would be more than the unit itself probably :(
