We started this coin in April just to play with some code and to see how works but, seeing that is working really good, we decided to launch it "officially" here. About details that you request, we are actually trying to build a system of resources (trading, laboral, housing...) to give some support to some social movements (most of them at Spain, Catalonia and Basque Country) and also, to try to introduce descentralized system in the common. For example, there are some drafts about eco-mining using a RasperryPi with solar panels. Also, we are studing another mining methods, such as Proof of Transaction (see ButterflyCoin). Etc.. So, main idea is to experiment, interact and growth in a more ethical way than some usure methods. For that, we hope to create a good community that helps us to build a eco-currency system that contributes to create a better world. Feel free to ask more questions and to join us in our dreams. At the end I finished some pending tasks and is ready a new version of the crypo-currency: #MyEcoin (ECO). https://github.com/epsylon/ecoin/ This time, it uses a more sophisticated method of mining, than before (PoW). It is using a hybrid system: PoW + PoS + PoT - PoW (Proof of Work): Classic processing mining. - PoS (Proof of Stake): A system that rewards for contribute to the networks of peers. - PoT (Proof of Transaction): A system that rewards for use the coin (aprox. for each transaction of 1000 ECO, you receive 1 more).
