Doubtful, this isn't the police's first time to the rodeo. However, I do expect some sort of punishment against the shooting cop to placate the minorities at some point. Kind of like a sacrifice offering up to the gods of sorts. Guaranteed to see a wrongful death lawsuit settled for millions and perhaps w/ even an admission of guilt. The FBI is getting in on this and it'll be interesting to see how AG Holder plays this now that his team is getting involved. Perhaps, nail the white cops ass to the wall and rally the troops for the midterms.. Sky is the limit on this one but will the police behavior be curtailed at all? Just check the pictures circulating of the swat teams out w/ their heavy artillery and tanks dealing w/ the protests if one has any inclinations one way or another.

Friendly bunch I'm sure. That said, the looting by the bums doesn't do the victim's name nor disposition any justice in public opinion, esp those that normally sympathize w/ the police - older white folk.

The Detroit riots didn't bring about the end, Kent State didn't bring about the end, Columbine didn't bring about the end, Trayvon Martin didn't bring about the end, heck even the American Civil War didn't bring about the end.

How exactly? The situation is tragic for sure and possibly racially motivated but how will this isolated incident be the beginning of the end?

Blacks are some 10-15% of the population. And out of them, only a small minority are rioting, while the rest are indifferent to the whole incident. This by no means can be compared to the Arab Spring.

You don't know anything about Arabs or Ukraine. They are not the same thing. Police is corrupted everywhere, we already know that.

You must be from a small island of you never visited the USA. You would need ebola, a massive nuclear attack or let 12 million people to be declared american citizen by a king for this to maybe happen.. And none of those scenarios are likely to happen.. Ever... ;)

is it going to spread to other cities throughout america? probably not. so no, it's not an arab spring. those middle eastern countries also don't have a stable form of government as we do in the states.
