It is Level 39 and Happiness is above 50%. The Town has a Gold mine and mining. The account also has a referral that has a Gold mine and you get a percentage. The percentage you get from the referral is enough to go to market and but materials you need to upgrade or build new buildings (can easily buy 500 items "for free" every couple of days). Yes happened to me went on travel came back village was shabby, had to put a lot of effort into it but now it is up and running.
