Can buy directly from manufacturer for this price,  why would someone choose you over the manufacturer and risk not receiving a warranty?

From their website,

Important: Warranty applies to original end-user purchaser only and is non-transferable. Warranty does not apply should you purchase through a 3rd party reseller such as eBay and Craigslist. Ploom warranties only apply to devices purchased at any authorized retailer serviced by an authorized Ploom distributor. For questions regarding authorized retailers, please contact us via email or chat at www.Ploom.com/Support. If you prefer to contact us by phone, please email Ploom's support team with your phone number and preferred call back time.

Also,  there are a lot of fakes on these things out there,  are you sure your are real deal?

Can you show proof that you've authenticated them? We can't just take your word for it.

Sadly more often than not these vapes tend to be fakes if not bought from proper authorized dealers. Maybe post pictures of it working etc or send a vouch copy to someone who knows what to look for.

Unless you got these from pax themselves they're probably clone.. Like most vape things. I'm not sure what they wholesale for.. But since they sell for $250 I'd imagine they sell them bulk for $200-230ish.. Clones you can grab for $50 so if you spent any less than $230 you bought clones.

even if these are the real deal plume will not honor the warranty, so they're not much better than the knock offs.  A lot of the knockoffs comes from the same factory and were sold under the table by the factory.

I think every one of my ecig suppliers will disagree with you on that. Just about everything is made in house and by a rare chance they may be able to source a single part like a chip. There are actually quite a few ecig/vape things they cant clone.. But the pax isn't one.

I'm sure your guy is right, he would have to know more about these things than me. I'm pretty sure I had read somewhere that the factory plume used sold a bunch of units under the table, but I could be wrong about that.
