Trying to impersonate me by PMing people pretending to be me.

Please shutdown this account and folks in the chain of default trust, please add a few scammer tags to increase the current -6 trust on this scammer's profile

I can confirm this. The scammer PM'd me. Luckily I was smart enough to use info from the group buy thread, not the PM, otherwise he woulda got me.

Wow... This was clever.

I had to go letter by letter just to figure out what the hell he did. The scams never cease to amaze me.

On this forum, it wouldnt be very difficult to implement soundex or another appropriate match algorithm on a new user creation step.  If it's close to an existing user id (especially sr. Member or higher) additional steps should be taken to make sure it's not a scammer account...
