Doesn't seem to be confirmed yet right now either. It might have been the transaction size, which is 979 bytes. Perhaps a higher fee like 0.0005BTC or 0.001BTC would have made it confirm much quicker if this is an urgent deposit.

Hmmm 3 hours is a lot though. Here, https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees , it says:

"A transaction may be safely sent without fees if these conditions are met:

It is smaller than 1,000 bytes.
"

Also, blockchain says very high priority. Idk what's up.

Honestly, I've had transactions go 12 hours before confirming.  They didn't even show on the network once, it was REALLY annoying but everyone assured me I just needed to wait.  I do think it's sometimes a shortcoming of bitcoin but it did go through.  Also if it never goes through it's my understanding there is a way to "cancel" the transaction so that you don't lose the money.  So you'll be fine.

I have had a .15 transaction in there for about 2 hrs and it just got its first confirmation. Even earlier today It was taking more then an hr or more to get to 3 confirms.

No, the fee is fine.

.0001 per kb. Size is <1kb.

Thats probably due to bad propagation. If the miners do not know about your TX, they can not put it in a block.

Depending on the client it will just stop broadcasting the TX (or not) so it will be forgotten (or not) and you can make a new one (or not).

It really depends on the nodes that are broadcasting the transactions. If the major pools are not connected to a node that is broadcasting your TX then it will likely not get confirmed. I am not 100% sure of the reason why your particular TX would not make it to these nodes.

It looks like it finally got to 6 confirmations now 7 and going on.
Sometimes the network is slow it happens.
Remember a 30 to 50 minute wait a few days ago on something I sent.

yes it often happens also to me, I guess if we empty the transaction and send the btc in the wallet and everything is always late, yes you should be reserving a minimum of 0.001 BTC

I find for a small sized tx that if I pay 0.0002 (rather than 0.0001) for the fee it will be confirmed much faster (i.e. generally in the very next block).

That's double the fee so miners would be happy to scour for those

The higher the fee per KB that you pay in a TX, the faster the miners will confirm the TX as it will generate more revenue for them. This is simple economics - if you offer to pay more for a service then someone will offer to fulfill the service for you quickly.
