So as topic says, I have just done a fabric reset on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note). When I enter the email details I get the error message "Invalid email (USR_311)". I have googled around a bit but I haven't found a solid solution.

Anyone here who has had the same problem and solved it? Would greatly appriceate help!

If you're getting an error that reads, "Invalid email address," Google does not recognize your username (if you use Gmail) or your email address (if you don't use Gmail).

Common reasons for getting this error

There's an extra space in the middle of your username or your email address.
This happens most often if you're trying to sign in with your name instead of your username/email address. For example “John Smith” instead of johnsmith332.
There's more than one @ sign.
There's invalid characters like parentheses, colons, semicolons, etc.
You've accidentally entered @gmail or @yahoo instead of @gmail.com or @yahoo.com.
Refreshing your browser

If you’re pretty sure your username or email address is entered correctly, try refreshing the sign-in page on your browser and re-entering your username or email address.

You may want to try this:
Go to accessibility option which is available on the first screen where you select language..then goto Text to speech option..then from the settings goto Install voice data and try to download any language..It will ask you to enter samsung account details.
Enter your own samsung account details..once the download is complete..go back to screen where it was showing abnormal factory reset adn then enter your samsung account..It will go through

It doesn't ask for details. I downloaded german with no problem :/

Yeah, I've read that thread but I don't think it's a server issue since so many people have had the same problem so many times and after all it's a big company so they ought to have 99.99% uptime or something.

Does fabric reset mean factory wipe/cache clean? I'd try that again. As another user suggested, it might not be on your end.

Ughm, you mean factory reset, fabric means something else.

Yeah, whatever I format the phone - you know what I mean.
