Title: You send international wire transfer, I pay you in Bitcoin
Post by: silvergoldandbitcoin on August 17, 2014, 09:47:45 AM
Hello all. I need to send international wire transfers pretty frequently, but I would rather do so anonymously.

So here's my request, you make a wire transfer (I'll provide all the details of course),

And as soon as it's confirmed, I send you the bitcoin equivalent plus 3%.

Of course I am willing to use escrow.

Please ask any questions you may have.

International wire transfer from the US cost ~$50 for the wire fee, and about 4%-8% for the currency conversion.

Your offer of 3% doesn't even come close to covering all fees associated with wiring money.

There might even be additional charges if there are correspondent banks and if sent by SWIFT.

What sort of money are we talking about here, anyway? Seems like you're awfully likely to get investigated for money laundering if the transaction volumes are high and consistently so. Telling the feds "I was transferring money for someone who needed anonymous bank transfers - he was paying me in bitcoin" wouldn't be a very good idea....
