Title: Should i have my pc and wallet open to recieve bitcoins ?

Another newbie question.

When someone sends me BitCoins i should have my pc and my bitcoin client open ?

For small amount, sign up a wallet from blockchain or some of the reputable exchange.

No you don't need to be synced in order to receive bitcoins, the transaction is stored online in the blockchain :)

No it doesn't need to be online or even open to receive the Bitcoin it runs on a network so its possible.

no no you dont have to, you will get your bitcoin once you open your wallet

Nope, you don't need to.

Btw, for maximum security, people use an offline wallet to store their bitcoin, which by definition the wallet is created and run on offline machines only. :)

going online and offline at the same safe, live how we keep it with caution.
because until now my wallet is still safe in the offline and online :)

better online wallet just blockchain more simple and faster :)

it's better to use multibit wallet for a beginners  or any online wallet like blockchain

You can have your PC offline and client off, and you will still receive them. It's like receiving mail while you aren't home, it will still get in your mailbox.

Haha good analogy - I was about to say that.  Since the actual coins and ledger of the coins is stored in the blockchain (the bitcoin network) your home PC has no real bearing on whether the coins will be received.  Now if you want to use those coins you would need access to the keys for your addresses which is available through the client you are using (probably the Bitcoin QT core).
