true but with 60 days protecting on the chargebacks I will have almost all my roi in.  as of today I am about 500usd towards 1800 usd.

this is the biggest problem with btc/alt coins defending against the crooked people in the game.

As of today I can't make my mind up about  gawminer's honesty  so I go at it defensively and hope for the best.

as I get back more of the invested money I will feel a bit better about them.

zenpoints  are like interest on the coin you earn.   i will explain  more on them later today.  1 zen point is .000001 btc

  I need to check on that.  maybe .00001 btc.  

so if i want to buy something from them with the coin I earn I get to spend the zen points

so a 15.99 usd hashlet is .03351504 btc  - 117 zen points = .03339804 btc  so 117 zenpoints = .000117 btc

you earn them by mining with your zencloud account.   they have good and bad points will explain later

Well you might be correct. Back  last year DzCoop was talking the talk did some nice deals they ended up a big bust out.  I am not sure what I have going here but I will play it a day at a time.

I see 1.09 btc earned back against with the last few days  pulling in .05 btc. a day.

If an avg of .035 comes in the next 30 days that will be 1.05 btc plus the 1.09 btc = 2.14 btc by sept 20th .

It looks like  roi if btc goes higher. I think btc needs to be 725 usd.

   But no roi if btc stays at 500 usd.

my gridseed was converted to hashlet power today .  it was past the free hosting time so I decided to convert it to hashlet.

I now have :

11mh in hashlet
1.4mh fury
12.5mh black widow
12.5mh black widow
26.6mh falcon

64mh  total

I have 2 s-3's

yes  if you hold your btc earned you get more zen point more quickly.

At this point in time I have earned 1.14 btc and 136 zen points

I pull my btc quickly so my zen point grow slowly.

1.14 btc = about 502 usd  I am in for about 1800 usd

 So I don't look to buy right now.  I look to get back more coin

I asked the above question on the zenpool site ( I bought 9 mh before this last deposit )  But no answer on that question.

No one knows for sure how the price will move.   Or if it will trade freely.

but your 3.5 btc should earn zen points    So in theory  if you do nothing but let the 3.5 btc sit you will earn enough to get yourself some free hashlets.

As long as you understand that your method of depositing 3.5 btc  means you are at full risk of losing the btc they are offering zen points at 11% rate yearly.

So if you let the 3.5 btc sit for a tiny bit more then 1 month  you would earn .035btc  worth of zenpoints.

That   may be a way on buying hashlets for free.  Since a bank pays 1% a year if you are lucky to get a good rate and they are paying 1% in 33 days.

High risk to get 11% but you never know.

I may consider putting in btc to collect zenpoints in the future.

If they have an open market(like cex.io) with buyer/seller controlled prices, this would be the best thing that could happen.

maybe  still taking it slowly but this could be quite a big deal as time goes on.

I am guessing they will stop selling Hashlets directly if/when they give us a free market to buy/sell.   If they do, price should rise at least at first on them since they are a great value currently.


However, I wonder how they would get new hashlets into the market place without hurting their first adopters but providing enough new supply for new customers.

What's with the anti-escrow stance?

I did dozens of btc deals and I did escrow for people on this site a few times.

 I have been robbed by major services like BIPS still waiting on .39btc in coins from them.

This deal was small 1 btc.  I do not do escrow  for small amounts.  500 usd or less 1 btc or less.

If sellers tell me they don't take escrow say canary in the mine for a 1 btc deal  = 1.04 coins

or bitcointech for 2 s-3s'  more then 1.1 coins

or spondoolies for an sp30  more then 7 coins

They do not do escrow for their deals

 I don't do  escrow for mine.  Now they may sound arrogant but I give my real name.  See how many people do that.

 I also keep my deal at low levels 1btc or less.

Now If I sold all my shit on zen cloud  which is 67 mh  and 920 gh  it would be about 3 coins.

 I would not do that with out escrow. I do not ask for people to trust me for more then 1 btc.

I offered a really good deal on for those hashlets  those were the terms.

which pool do you recommend?

if you have only the s-3's  nicehash can have large over payments.

then btcguild on principal over cex.io    but that choice means a tiny bit less coin. 

If you have some hashlets the zenpool.

             I have collected 1.259 in btc that is 642 at todays price

this is a grand total of 1512 usd I spent 1801 usd so I am at   1801 - 1512 =  289 usd out of pocket

and I still have 2 S-3's and 4 hashlets mining

so my net as of right now is owning 2 s-3's and 4 hashlets for only 289.

 that seems pretty good.

  transfer  of all hashlets should take around 48 hours.   my good rep here and ebay allowed me to do 835 of the 870 without escrow.

I  will see postings on last nights earning in a little while.

I must say this and the previous thread have helpt me a lot of my beginner luck on bitcoin. I have 2 1mhs on zenminer after I bought a zeus blizzard x6 as a test out.

I plan to either buy a hurricane x6 for mining LTC or buy 10 mhs on zenminer. What could be the best choice? the hurricane is on 340 usd inc. delivery.

the thunder is an x6 chip miner and hashes at 18-20mhs    what do you pay for power 10 cents a kwatt 15 cents a kwatt 20 cents a kwatt?


if you pay 10 cents or less buying the thunder at oneminer.com may be better then buying the hashlets.




do you ever use the codes  gaw25 or gaw10  if you never used those codes at gawminers.com    they work on hashlets    buy 10 for 15.99 each cost = 159.90  used gaw10 drops price to 149.90

I think you need to spend 250 for gaw25 to work.

I bought 30MH of Hashlet, hope it was good investment...

Even at the rate Zenpool is paying, you will not recoup your investment ,,, it simple math.

That isn't true, if Zenpool keeps paying at the same rate it won't be a problem to hit breakeven.   I fully expect the return to go down, but so far it has been exceeding expectation.   Right now Zenpool is paying .00063214 BTC / MHs / day.

Yea, thanks for the tips. If I will buy anything from gawminers or oneminer, it will be Zencloud because i live in Europe and would get Duty and tax when it will be send here. that's almost 25-35% more on the price.

I pay around 15 cents per kwatt.

Would be so much easier if gawminers had a warehouse in europe so I could skip thinking about duty and taxes.

They just raised their price to $20 per MH on the hashlet... Wonder what was the reason behind this...

Hashlets were selling too fast and they couldn't handle the demand, so they raised the price to lower the demand of them. 

That was a bit typical. got my payroll today and was gonna buy 13 mhs. Saw the different in the price but bought it anyway. Now it is around 67 days to ROI. Yay....

When you ROI I'll be really happy since I bought most of my Hashlets last week.

I am back.  last night some of the sales i did transferred.

  The 3 single mh transferred   did escrow with this and I am waiting on my funds from the escrow service.

 I will post how long they take to release the escrow funds.

The biggest sale of 2 black widows  1 falcon 1 gift fury was done but 1 fury was not transferrable.

So I will refund that small part back to the buyer.  52 out of 53 fully done



The  gridseed blade to hashlet sale has not transferred . Since this is a gift from Ceo Josh  it may be like the fury and I can not transfer it.

Last night I earned .0252 btc  on my 2 s-3's and 4 hashlets.

was able to  transfer the gridseed to hytekk .

 I owed him 4 days earnings   which i sent to him  0.0135  which is wrong it should be  0.01393405  so I still need to send him   .00043405btc  . 


  THE error was made due to me dropping out a digit.

 I also have been contacted by the escrow service on hashtalk.

  gawminers of Australia is running it.

I was told I would get funds later today.  This is why I do not like to use escrow. 

 I did it to be nice and still waiting on the btc.

well right now my scrypt went from 70mh to 5mh and 256 stayed at 930gh

as this I put in 1800 usd and by selling off the scrypt portion  and keeping the 256 portion I counter balance the scrypt in house (11 gridseed blades)

I just about make an absolute profit   so far 1800 in  sell off  was  870 usd  puts me at 930 usd in the hole.   must of the 1800 was cc I got 40 bucks in cc rebate so my 930 in the hole is reduced by 40 to 890 usd.

 I am holding the earnings in btc  so far 1.332    that is worth 672

so at this moment in time I am out of pocket  218 usd.  I own 2 s-3's and 5mh   I pay less in power for them about 10 cents a kwatt if zen-gaw hosts.

 where on earth can you buy 2 s-3's and say 1 gridseed blade for 218 usd. have them hosted at 10 cents a kwatt  and cc protected?

 this is known as taking profit .  some would say I took profit too soon. I  don't care I will fully roi in about 10 days . or maybe I will sell of 1 of the 2 s-3's and roi tonight.

okay the s-3's will be 90 cents + 90 cents = $1.80  a day.  this comes to about 10 cents  a kwatt

the 4 hashlet singles will be 32 cent a day

the fury is free for 90 days.  but would be 11 cents

They are by far the top paying pool compare to others and now this double the hashrate promotion...

well as you see I sold off a lot. but i did hold on to some.   no matter what happens I can not be a loser as I sold off enough to make that true.

yes same value 100 of them are about 5 cents if btc is at 500 usd.

i have been in this btc - alt coin game a while it is really hard to do well for a long period of time.

so i have an abundance of caution.  this limits my losses a lot.

the points are awarded at 11% a year rate. so 100 coins left to sit for one year would earn 11 coins.

i leave under  .1 btc in my zen account

Just a clarification, HashPoints are gained off of the BTC balance, not the point balance.   Basically it is .03% of the BTC balance a day.  Since one HashPoint is 1 uBTC (or 100 satoshi) it works out to  INT( (BTC balance) * 300 ) Hash points a day.    .1 btc balance would give 30 HashPoints a day.

been away for a day.  I have a sick brother-in-law  and he lives alone in NY .

Sure they gave us a bigger payout (late) for Wed but now 0 payout for Thurs? Its 9 am the next day and still no payout for the 28th.
Is their accounting that messed up that it takes this long? Or is something else going on?

There was a major announcement on Friday night. Not sure what it all means but zen-gaw certainly is doing a lot of changing.

They seem to have new ideas once or twice a week. For me I have 4 old school hashlets 1 fury convert to a hashlet.

 This is a total of 5.2mh hashlets  this is now 'grandfathered' hash and should be considered the same as the hi end new prime hashlets which go for 40 usd each!
I also have the older 478gh edition of an S-3.

My hash = 5.2mh for scrypt

My hash = 478gh for 256

Since I sold off a lot of stuff to truly absolutely lock in a profit my gear is all paid off .  My profits are

  In retrospect I could have held the gear longer and sold at a larger profit but that is a gamblers lament. As an investor since this investment has fully paid off I am satisfied so far.

I have more issues.   4 of the above payments are for identical items 1 mh hashlets  .  All 4 never leave zen pool.
so they should be equal>  yet they are 0.00064006 - 0.00070832 - 0.00066842 - 0.00071268   why the difference?
I do not know and have not received an explanation for this.  I also have not read one.  But to be fair I never asked for an explanation  until today right here.
So anyone from gaw-zen fell free to tell me why they are so different.  they never leave the zen pool they have been pointed at zen for more then a week.

not bad.  well I did sell off most of the 70mh I had sold off 64 of it kept 6 and I sold off 1 s-3 of 2 s-3's.  But I am in the black and the s-3 and 6mh are earning around .013 btc a day.
They paid quickly today. I will continue to post the  profits.  I am hoping they settle down with the 'paperwork' issues they have had.

I wanted to ship my antminers home but after reading everything that happened with gaw miners shippments I think it would be better leaving it at ZenMiner

The fact that you're afraid to have your miners shipped to you doesn't make it GAW's fault.

I can ask for the s-3 to be shipped but if I run it in my house my power bill is about 1.35 usd a day.  if they run it I spend .90 usd
So thats about 14 or 15 usd a month cheaper for them to run it. I used a cc I am not afraid to have it shipped home.  I am going to continue to mine it for about 4 more weeks.

sure why not?

the s-3 makes money. By that It earns more then the power it spends. Even in my home at 15 cents a kwatt the s-3 does not lose until dec or so.
