If you are in the U.S., and you have been living with her for 7 years, you are already married by common law. You don't need to propose.

You said that you are serious. Make an appointment with her when you both have 2 to 3 hours to spend together. Show her your written down list of marriage points, points that are what you expect of yourself, what you expect of her, what you will abide by according to your local Bangladesh area tradition. Lol, I can not know what happened at last if he got married or not! But with 7 years and all the confidence that should have been, it is easier to propose marriage, surely she would know that you were going to propose it, women are very intelligent and advanced.

And in reality, it should appear and tell everyone what happened, in my case, it was easier, I just had to leave her pregnant to get married and a son is the best blessing for a couple, of course, if both want a child. ;D

This is funny to me

Almost the same with my wife buddy,we use to be a childhood sweethearts untill thy migrate to another city in which separated us

Then we see each other again after 6 years at the church when i was invited for christening,the moment i saw her then approached her with the word hey I Missed you,and she replied the same lucky that we are both not in relationship that time so before the day end,i told her I love her and the rest is history,now we have 3 beautiful kids

Just say straight  you love her and let her decide whats the future between you both
