Title: Good time to buy?
Post by: bitkilo on August 18, 2014, 10:18:06 AM
I've been buying a couple of dollars worth of btc in the last few days, with the price the way it is it's probably a good time to buy. Although nothing I read really convinces me why the price drop has been so steep.
Why do you think price has dropped fast?
And are you buying or panic selling?

BTC is at 453 right NOW, and I'm buying.

Problem is, I'm buying it from a friend who bought it from me earlier for 800.

He got cold feet, and he needed the money badly, so I gave him 800 out of pity.

Fucking sucks, but I mined that coin, and I'm kinda relieved to have it back.

I shoulda never sold it.

Wow. You're a good friend.

It's a good time to buy if everyone else is panicking and selling. If you can pick up some coin in the low $400, it would be most ideal.

It maybe a good time to buy as it may bounce back to $500-$600 level, but before it can go down to $300, I think. The prospect of seeing $1000 this year seems to be remote at the moment.

Bitcoin is a long term project, we don't need $1000 any time soon. Give me time to buy more before prove goes back up.

I would wait a few more hours around about 10 hours and it might just drop that extra bit more if it drops by another $20 I'm snapping them up.

Yeah I think It is time to buy now, I would like to see $550 + now. But this can always go other way then we think, so just be up to date and see what is the best decision you can make.

<gribble> Bitstamp | A market order to buy 22500 bitcoins right now would take 14951251.0172 USD and would take the last price up to 1199.9900 USD, resulting in an average price of 664.5000 USD/BTC. | Data vintage: 36.1918 seconds

If you're not going to drop $14,951,251 USD on BTC right now and hodl it long time, then it will continue to fall.

For long term, buy and hold.

Short term wise, it looks like dead cat bouncing.

Might be a good time to buy and anything can happen so, it can be a good investment or just wasting money.  :D
