I usually call them once a week, and if I forget, I get a guilt trip message from my mom. Now, it's a bit more frequent because if she doesn't hear from me after a few days, she'll assume I've gone into labor.

Now I see then ~2 weeks as they can drive 40 min and we meet half way or I hop up. still text and or email most days.

Maybe once a month if she's lucky.

I update g+ with baby pictures and tell them I hope they’re doing well when they comment I don’t feel too bad though. my brother in law lives in a different city but comes into town (where his parents still live) for business a few times a year.
