Right now some 13 millioin BTC. At some point in the future you'll be able to have just under 21 million in a single address.

Why would there be a limit? You are free to own 21 million BTC paid in a single address if you wanted (or could  :P)

I believe you're looking at about 13 million as of current time, but you could hold all ~21 million coins. You'd become a target for hackers very quickly, however. 13 million coins (So about $6,500,000,000 @ $500/coin) is very valuable in the eyes of some people.

If you would have all 21 million bitcoins in one wallet, you wouldn't be a target for hackers at all, because at that point Bitcoin would be worthless.

I think if anyone were to try to actually do this then the value of bitcon would essentially become worthless. BTC gets it's value from two sources, as being a unit of trade and from the security of the network. If you hold/control all of the BTC then there is obviously no trade happening (unless you trade with yourself) so it would receive no value from this. It would also mean that the network would not be secure anymore as miners would have no incentive to mine as they (at this point) would be receiving all of their compensation from TX fees, but if one person controls all of the BTC then he would obviously not be sending BTC to his various addresses (he would have no reason to) therefore there would be on TX fees to be had.

So, you now know that there's no limit.  Why did you want to know that, agian?

Check different wallet, for different wallet different maximum. I hear is about 13 millions limmit.

It is not a proper question. I don't think any addresss would ever reach the limit. Many people use as much addresses as they can to receive different transaction.

Right now limit is 11million. I wonder who touched the limit  ;). 11million is more, far more than enough for a single wallet.
