Title: When minting CAPTcoin, only one previous output is used?
Post by: lordscales91 on August 19, 2014, 11:01:43 AM
I don't know exactly how this "minting" process works on PoS Crypto-Currencies, but analysing my mintings I noticed that each time I mint it used a previous unspent output as source along with an extra value, which are the new generated coins and are shown as "fee", and the destination is the same address used as source. Such amount are placed at stake and is necessary to wait for it to "mature".

So my question is: every time is used only one previous output? If that's the case I noticed also that as much large is the amount used for stake the generated amount will be bigger, so... Maybe it would be better to send a significant amount of my coins to new generated address of my own, so the minting will be more profitable?
