what do you guys think about deals in porn with btc?

will it  be welcome and start a new world?

In one hand, porn (just as prostitution) should be one more expression of freedom. Ideally, people in it should go naturally when they see the benefits.

On the other, this can be easily put by conservative (or hypocrite) people in the "bad things done with anonymous money", to put it some way. In most of latam, where I'm from, porn is crude and underdeveloped (just like many other things here). In America, as far as I understand, there are strong players who, I suppose, don't want to risk being seen as "using cryptocurrencies because theyre ilegit". They want to be as legit as possible.

I've seen some aspiring porn stars, and the like, asking for money in some forums here (12.0???). I guess thats a crude approach at it.

In all, I suppose "alt porn stars" will arise, a paralell porn industry competing with the porn establishment, highly valued in US Dollars. Perhaps such alt industry will be more horizontal (therefore less "sexy" to the investors point of view).

Just some thoughts.

There was an article that came out not long ago that talked about the high costs of accepting credit cards for porn "services". It talked about how several sites were charging people between 20 and 40% in order to get paid for their sales. Accepting bitcoin would obviously reduce this substantially.

I see a lot of bad press being generated towards bitcoin which it already is for it being used for porn services however do we not already use the currencies everyone uses for that?

I personally do not see a problem with bitcoins being used for porn services, it's a way of paying so why not. I personally myself would not use it however many do and people are free to do so if they wish. It could make services like this though cheaper for those who pay with bitcoin if it really did take off.

If the premium is true, it is just a matter of time before some of the porn premium site start accepting bitcoin.

Kind of strange why they have not accept btc for payment yet.

People will likely spend money on porn using bitcoin just like people spend money on pron with fiat money.

The premium is not about the quality of the material but rather the extra amount that goes to the credit card processors.

And a lot of them have good video quality and big database with many categories.  As fuq(dot)com ;D

Why would people spend something on things like porn while you can make real deal out of money/bitcoin.Porn sites are basically free to use millions of them are.Never spent a penny on such so called porn sites,only jerk offs do

There's nothing wrong with that as long as both parties agree with the deal.

It will be used more and more but only in cams sites or so, video pages are freely.

Give enough discount and people will start using it.

Of course it would be welcomed, why wouldnt it? Any industry is good for bitcoin, though porn accepting it wont exactly start a 'new world'.

I'm guessing most people don't want their card details associated with paying for porn and bitcoin is perfect for this (though no idea why people would pay for porn in the first place lol).

Promote bitcoin the right way, the positive concepts to people like use bitcoin to buy hardware, coffee, burger ,clothing , hotels , airport, car parking fee , movie ticket and etc....... . This is how bitcoin will took off!

I think it's smart. It offers privacy and anonymity. There's nothing like a big honking sign on your credit card saying that you've bought porn. Haha!


Exactly. I think it'd be better to sell live shows. (Think of strip clubs, but instead they're porn clubs.)

Some areas in the world doesnt allow free access to porn. They need to pay to download it.
