As you may know, Israel has a very active Bitcoin community. One of its biggest hubs is the Meetup group (http://www.meetup.com/bitcoin-il/), holding various events including monthly lectures. Most of the content is in Hebrew, however occasionally we host a lecture in English. This thread will share videos of these lectures.

I am glad more and more countries is adapted to use bitcoin, hopefully someday there will be lecture about bitcoin to come to asia

because asia is a good market for bitcoin and eventually all countries will used bitcoin as global currency

the first clip with vatalik talking about Quantum computing and bitcoin is very intersting.  that guy never surprises me with his knowledge, lecture by him and andreas are always interesting.

As always the seen of such kind of news make happy every lover of bitcoin. And seeing the names who participate in such meetings can be told for sure that Israel don't disappoint its bitcoiners. The future of bitcoin and its development. And as always Israel is at the top of interested people about the new and the innovative things. Big people with big story and big personalities. If I would be a racist would tell for sure: chosen people.  ;)

Israel has very large amount of money to invest in bitcoins, so they are very active player in bitcoins and started doing business on bitcoins too. Thats why they are giving lectures to the new users to know more about it. They are market no. 1 players.

it is really a great news , now Israel community  is getting benefited with the bitcoin Lectures and training , it is good for the bitcoin industry. like this it should continue with more countries, i believe it is good for bitcoin industry.

Maybe you could post the link to the lectures in Hebrew as well, someone might be willing to translate them, if they cover an interesting topic?

In my experience translation of a video is a lot of work and I'm not sure it'd be worth it.

Yeah this is going to boost the popularity of bitcoin for sure :D to attract more investors and users to it. its better if the people could know about altcoin trading too as its more fun to do :D and good for skills in trading !

We've been organizing Bitcoin meetups for 5 years and uploading videos from them for almost 4. I'm not sure why several commenters have referred to this as "news"...

Yeah, you're right, they might be a little too long to fully translate and subtitle them.
But since they're on Youtube, anyone could do it, not sure if there would be enough interest for it to be worth it.

I doubt any person will take you to court because you want to share information about Bitcoin. Most of the open seminars and meetups posted online are public domain. I think they will mind, if it was

streamed live, and they had people paying entrance fees to attend. OP, I liked the content of most of these videos, and the high profile guests helps to give it something extra. I have been at some

meetups and it's quite boring if their are no good speakers or guests.  :( ...We have our meetups in pubs, so the beer is cold and the people friendly.

yeah, the more people are into bitcoins the better, it is vital to attract more and more people into it for bitcoins to grow all the time

Unless specially stated that you can't record or share it (paid concerts, other art shows, where bootlegs can be illegal); every public meeting is free domain and you can record and share it as much as you like.
Be sure to drop a link to your blog when you will be done. If it is in English I will be happy to see it.

IANAL but I expect there's a difference between recording and sharing on your own, and using a video produced and uploaded by others. In the latter case there should be an option to control on what circumstances it can be used.

Though it has a little impact but remember big things come from small beginnings. It started with a few individuals but later it will multiply and grow overtime. Though we may net yet feel its impact but sooner or later that impact will come and you do not know why. So let us not underestimate their effort since it will contribute to the success and price inflation of bitcoin.

A great way to more improve the popularity. A good sign indeed. Keep it up and hoping to see some people thay will be joining in this road to learning.
