This is how the winner was chosen.
Those who sent me a PM to which i replied get one "chance".
Those whose PM intrigued me enough to reply again get another "chance".
The first 3 people to PM me will also get an extra "chance".
The "chance" count is as follows, those whose "chance" count is less than 1 are not listed:

rz20: 2
rogerdonkey: 3
edmundduke: 3
Southpaw0: 1
usupnaruto: 1
ie007cheung: 1
knightdk: 1
dbshck: 3 (xD the wrong reply is included)
TheNewAnon135246: 1
blablaace: 1
Wusolini: 1
zzaza: 1
madmax6688: 1
xx_lama: 1
nabeton: 1
Jaawsh: 1

Each "chance" is then converted to a random number.
(where 0<RandomNumber<total number of "chances" and does not repeat):

rz20: 4, 6
rogerdonkey: 15, 3, 17
edmundduke: 18, 7, 2
Southpaw0: 22
usupnaruto: 5
ie007cheung: 14
knightdk: 10
dbshck: 21, 8, 20
TheNewAnon135246: 9
blablaace:16
Wusolini: 1
zzaza: 12
madmax6688: 19
xx_lama: 11
nabeton: 13
Jaawsh: 23

The number will then be generated through random.org.

EDIT:
Result: 20
dbshck is the winner! ;D
Grats! Thanks everyone for participating!

Although low level of transparency it was quite interesting.

Congrats to winner.

Congrats to winner.

Thanks for the feedback, next time I'll have to be more transparent on that part. I just wanted to use a method where you can actually influence the results without yourself actually knowing. Any suggestions on how to have a high level of transparency while at the same time maintaining the excitement that anything you do can inch you closer to winning?

The idea of not knowing how to raise our chances is great. Just the last step (the draw) was no so provable fair  - who knows how many times you made a draw? - No offence.

At least, you could post screen shot of random.org draw. In advance you could state time of draw and include it into screenshot (e.g. open http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_UTC.aspx in next window and snip it together with random.org setup and result)
