Title: Richard Branson launches new currency. Is the bitcoin "B" trademarked?

seems the branson currency symbol is very similar to the bitcoin mark.

bitcoin can slide without any copyright... why? because there is no single entity to sue... dummy... it'd be a nightmare for any lawyer...

i'm not sure who your calling a dummy?  if every decent sized bitcoin outlet got a cease and desist, like mtgox and bitcoin.org, telling them to stop using a trademark or legal actions will ensue...

he does like to convey a somewhat anti-establishment image sometimes
