when i generate a deposit address to send BTC into my MtGOX account, are these addresses forever permanent ? so that i can publish such an address as a donation address on a website? thanks! Post by: Inaba on April 04, 2012, 02:51:59 PM I recall reading somewhere awhile back that they were permanent, but they recommended you use a new address each time due to security reasons - if the wallet holding it were ever compromised, etc...

They change the one they give you, but all the ones they ever give you all lead to you and you alone.
