Title: Today's Bitcoin price, a year ago
Post by: nuff on August 23, 2014, 05:02:48 PM
If anyone is feeling uncertain about the price today, look back just a year ago. That is all.

This is true but no one knows if we will be following the 2013 moon train or if we are facing a long period of stagnation.

It will go to the moon and beyond. I cannot predict when, but if you understand the fundamentals of Bitcoin, it is conceived to go up in value. That is as certain as 1+1=2

The fact that he is speculating in itself causes value which is the ironic thing. The bears and the bulls create stupid estimates of its true value meaning more volatility which is an essential factor of Bitcoin's value right now.

Too bad fallling will not log in again in a year to not confront the embarrassment when the price has breaken the current all time high. This will confirm his butthurt anyway.

$1250 ath? you lost 60% from there and lost almost 76% at 4 months ago,

drop your unrealistic hope and the get rich quick dream! bitcoin is not going to anywhere but down!

once the price goes back to where it started at $0.00001 then it would be too late, cut loose now or lose everything!

Right now the comparison between same month 2014 and 2013 is favourable.  It will be interesting to see if people will still be posting comparisons between November 2014 and November 2013 as evidence for a higher price.

you can compare current price (even if bitcoin drops to $0.0001 now) with 2009 (bitcoin was free or worthed $0.00001) at anytime you want and get a favourable conclusion

until the incoming end of bitcoin of cause..

Sometimes I change the timeline of bitcoinity charts to 2 years, then I feel better thinking that probably we will rally soon.

history doesn't always repeat itself or it could also lead you back to $0.00001 from where bitcoin started

I wonder if the next year we will see a similar thread with the value dropping to 2000$ from 6000$.

falling, I don't know what is your intention but clearly you are a troll. Bitcoin is a deflationary concept. The moment you limit something, and so happens that it has a value, it is deflationary in nature. Bitcoin can never, ever, go down to zero once it attained a value. Just as certain as there can never, ever be non-internet once internet is invented.

Can't expect an asset price to keep going up forever.

It will hit a limit.

Oh but it will. Because it is deflationary in nature the price can only go up, there is just no other way

This unexpected period of stability is really interesting and bullish imho. Very few financial advisors would have placed a bet on Bitcoin a year ago, but now it does seem capable of keeping its value. I don't think we really need a catalyst for the next bubble to happen (even if we already have one and it's the etfs going online on q4) but rather just some more time without lower lows.

We have enter a period of instability. If you have bitcoin holding, please pray the 475 resistance line hold.

Or hell will break lose based on technical indicator.
