Title: Bind is a scammer, stay away!
Post by: hoki on April 04, 2012, 06:35:45 PM
Bind (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=19418) stole 18 BTC from me.

I "bought" (https://blockchain.info/address/1Gy7iXZHnwp1zGK489oQPBP3RMG5fbL8tt) a SL account from him on the 30th of March - he has never replied since then.

Stay away from the scammer!

P.S.: I am wondering how can I have a SCAMMER tag applied to his profile ??? Can anyone help with an advice?

I guess you have to PM a Mod on here to get him this scammer label.

And you need to present all your supporting evidence, and you might want to consider communication first. Four days doth not a scammer automatically make.

I'm sure that evidence should include evidence of failed communication attempts.

Seems that many people come clean in a couple weeks.

Thanks for the replies! Dammit, I knew I should have used escrow! :( The weird thing is that the guy has two or three positive reviews on the forum!

And you need to present all your supporting evidence, and you might want to consider communication first. Four days doth not a scammer automatically make.

The fact that he logged in yesterday, having more than 5 private messages from me in his inbox and still didn't reply makes him pretty much a scammer, I hope! I mean, I hope not actually, I hope it's just some weird misunderstanding!

I'm guessing the private messages on this forum (with him mentioning his payment address) and the blockchain info should be enough, correct?

I'm sure that evidence should include evidence of failed communication attempts.

Yes, I have the outbox messages. I think it's fair to allow one or two weeks to pass before I contact a Mod.

SCAMMER badge applied, though I didn't request directly. Did he scam someone else as well? :-[

Anyway, Bind (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=19418), you're a scam and a disgrace to the Bitcoin community! I really hope karma gets you in the end!
