I mis read it first time around So it should make 0.0635 a week i get that but what is the total mean ? Title: Re: Can someone do a little maths for me please Post by: cp1 on August 24, 2014, 06:09:03 PM It makes less and less over its lifetime, so eventually it'll make nothing.

You are already a miner so you know this, nothing new. The 0.45 total is an estimate of the total BTC the device will make over its entire useful life. So basically if you pay more than 0.45 BTC for the device you will probably lose money. And note that these numbers assume your electricity is free. If you have to pay for electricity then you would have to take that into account also. It's great for current earnings.

You should see the prices they are going for on ebay, going to be some upset people on there Title: Re: Can someone do a little maths for me please Post by: BurtW on August 25, 2014, 03:37:26 PM Wow so according to the replies here the new S3 will NEVER ROI thats some bad shit lol There are exceptions but in general mining never gives you a positive ROI in BTC. If the price of BTC goes up enough then you may see a positive ROI in fiat. You should see the prices they are going for on ebay, going to be some upset people on there Title: Re: Can someone do a little maths for me please Post by: cp1 on August 25, 2014, 05:56:34 PM Why would anyone sell it for less than they could make by keeping it?
