Title: Cryptocurrency paying Dividends

Cryptocurrency paying Dividends

Most people don't trust the NYSE, NASDAQ due to high frequency trading and stock manipulations from big banks.
Within the next 5 years, you will see big companies creating their own stock based cryptocurrencies.
This type of cryptocurrency will pay dividends to share holders of their cryptocurrency. The dividends will depend on how much their company made in quarterly or annually.

The company will most likely create a "Buy Back" program. They will use the profits their company generated by buying back their own cryptocurrency to increase the value of their stock/shares cryptocurrency.

Future companies would be able to crowd fund themselves through this process.

Do you think this is a good idea or not?

Yes and no - equities don't need to issue cryptobased securities.  The current securities could be ported on to ripple, or stellar like networks which would provide the same protection from HFT, manipulation, ect by creating immutable trade data every few seconds via the LCL.  This would accomplish the same idea you are looking for without having to recreate the SEC ect.

If you are looking for dividends, BitSharesX already pays dividends in the form of transaction fees being destroyed.

And if you think the BTSX shares are about to go down you can cash out into bitUSD and get +5% interest on your bitUSD.

It will be very convenient for companies to issue stock or bonds using a cryptocurrency system. It saves costs and requires less administration. But I doubt that many companies will issue their own cryptocurrency to do that. It is more likely that they will use a then established Bitcoin 2.0 service/currency (mastercoin, counterparty, colored coins...).

Obviously, you are talking about small companies with revenue less than $100,000 a year.
Big companies will most likely hire their own programmers to create their own cryptocurrency to issue as shares ownership of their company.

Why would they do that if they can rely on existing infrastructure which other market participants already use? Today companies could also trade on their own exchanges instead of using the established stock market infrastructure. Few of them do.

There is no reason for them to create crypto securities... They can just trade their current securities via crypto rails.  You'd get the same results.

I dont even get the point of your theory, why should someone offer kryptostocks? I'd always prefer common stocks since they are not correlated to any currency or federal bank anyways.

why shouldn't something pay dividends?

its all based off of how someone structures something really. you dont need dollars to do it and you can do it with grains of sand if enough people accept it as currency or put value on it.

its whatever really, maybe it will help stablize the bitcoin price or maybe it will make it swing up and crash hard and mess around with it a lot. who knows.

The old system of the stock market is you have to go through a broker (someone who's broke) to sell the stock for you.

The cryptocurrency dividends system is the new stock market system that allow individual investors to sell their shares of the company's stock to other investors without someone who's broke taking a huge percentage out of it.

The is the point, the market should be a crypto rail with immutable data, standardized confirmation times, ect... there is however no reason for the companies to issue "coins" or any other new token... they can just use the current shares, traded on the right rails.

There are some crypto systems for companies to issue shares to public like Nxt Asset Exchange, cryptostocks etc. They have a good repution and are on the way to be mature and reliable. This will save large amount of commision charge by the brokers when IPO on the centralised exchange. Nowadays many companies are issuing shares on this new platform rather than throwing away thousands of dollars to create new infrastructure or cryptocurrency customers don't trust and buy.

Here is one example of crowdfunding a company/mobile app using NXT AE, developer says the app should appear in Google Play and Apple store today, you might want to check it out:

As US federal court in Texas ruled that Bitcoin was currency in August 2013, it would be managed as US dollars in the future. It is not surprised that if cryptocurrency paying Dividends, however, there are still many restrictions.

Many would find this idea of the currencies themselves paying dividends unattractive as it would be akin to inflation in the system.  It is actually a feature of most PoS coins as has been mentioned here.
