That is a fraction of a Bitcoin, not BitcoinS 1 Satoshi is 0.00000001 which is worth 0.0005 cents. Title is deceptive and to be honest it is not worth the effort any anybody's part. Title: Re: Giving Bitcoins Post by: oceans on August 25, 2014, 10:13:44 PM I agree, title is very misleading as people will click on here thinking you are offering bitcoins and not satoshi's. If anyone is looking for a small amount then this would be worthwhile.
Title: Re: Giving .0001 Post by: petestheman on August 25, 2014, 10:15:11 PM Changed title and this may not seem like anything to sr and hero members. Which is why it is in the Beginners and Help section. I remember a satoshi was a big deal when I first got into btc. And again it literally takes less than a minute to make an account and follow. It is easier than faucets.

It was always the smallest unit and most it was worth was double the current price so still not even half of cent. It's not worth that for anybody.Title: Re: Giving .0001 Post by: petestheman on August 25, 2014, 10:17:48 PM Changed title and this may not seem like anything to sr and hero members.
