Title: Litecoin A Relic of The Past
Post by: chryspano on August 26, 2014, 12:44:25 AM
Litecoin days are numbered, with no true innovation and being just a poor copy paste coin, I'm sorry but you don't have what it takes to hold the 2nd position for much longer, you stand no chance!

Some of you can start crying and whining all you want but it will not help you, just be sure you will not be the last ones to jump off the ship.

It might take a few days, a few weeks or even a few months, in any case this thread will close with a "I told you so!" In the meantime lets hear your whining and crying!!!

I expect Litecoin to lose the #2 spot in a matter of hours or days to Bitshares. When that happens watch how Litecoin early adopters panic sell and buy Bitshares pushing the market cap up even more.

Innovation is what rules along with community. Litecoin has community but gave up on innovation and the rule is innovate or die.

Only innovations since btc/ltc have been con jobs to have suckers buy in. Nothings been of benefit for a more usable alternative to the bankers controlled fiat.

Sooner or later all the new "innovative" (using the term lightly) will be seen for the miss the bitcoin boat scams they are and people will pile back into the tried and trusted btc/ltc.

i started getting into Crypto because of..
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/thepiratebay.se
That is rank 85 Global and rank 79 USA

And i had seen for quite a while that TPB (The Pirate Bay) had a Bitcoin donation address at the bottom of every single web page.
Then they added a Litecoin donation address too.. that was when i decided to start looking into all this stuff.
I started Crypto because of Litecoin !
First coin i mined was Litecoin too..

So when TPB decides that Litecoin is dead and removes it's donation address from the bottom footer of every single web page
then i may consider LTC is dead or in serious trouble.. until then i will assume guys are posting bullshit to get cheap coins.

Only coins i have used for donation address's on the web have been LTC + BTC ..and no i never got ANY donations either  :D

I have seen these topics so many times (LTC is dead topics) and i said to Kelsey on one of the other ones..
It's funny how it's always nobodies that say this shit.. no one with any credibility in the scene will step up and say it.. what does that tell us ?

And now to sink this punks boat (it's how i get my Bitcointalk rocks off)
First off, Why change what ain't broke ? Lack of innovation ? ROFL
Why is BTC so big ? ..Adoption. (read what i said above about TPB)

i don't need to go on.. there is nothing wrong with it and it's established with a market strange hold !
And don't forget it has a power house community of Asic miners backing it too.

ya Litecoin is dead  ::)

For me i think that ltc will loose that spot no 2 on the lit probably to some x13 coin.

Only i also think that when this jumping is over price will go to some point of old price but it only my opinion.

:o So how long do you think it'll take bitshares ( ::) ) to surpass bitcoin in value?  ::)

The altcoin section seems obsessed with destroying litecoin, if litecoin goes down to 5th 10th 20th place what going to change? whatever makes it to the second spot will be attacked torn down replaced with the next amazing innovation.

I come hear every once in a while and everyone's jumping all over a completely different coin, why don't you all pick the innovative Bitcoin killer and stick with it, at the moment your promoting something and leaving all the newly interested ones that have fallen down the rabbit hole that is the altcoin section to pick up the pieces damaging adoption in the long run.

If Litecoin is dead, which will be the second cryptocurrency to rule the market after bitcoin then?

others like me wish for it to do another dip to below 4 bucks so we can get a nice gain when it returns back to 6 dollar territory. Food for thought - BTC has not had innovation either just as LTC was not the 2nd altcoin created.

Yes it is so dead that it still has a market cap that exceeds any other alt coin. Yup so all other alts are not just dead but are in hell right?  ::)

It is not hate. Just that some of us miners (GPU and ASIC) get burned so badly that we decided to liquidate all assets related to LTC (and scrypt) and leave the pain behind.

Wish things could have been different. No pain no gain.

Litecoin is not Scrypt.. Scrypt is Scypt !

Just because you got burned on shit coin clones using the Scrypt Algo system most likely taken from Litecoin does not mean anything about Litecoin.

You guys were all warned long ago

When Scrypt Asics were showing up on day one i ran around telling everyone that it would slaughter the shit out of scrypt clones
and that is precisely what happened.
and guess what ?
I was GPU mining some scypt and had to take a loss on some of my coins before i got raped..
Such as dumping my Franko, DGC and many other coins (that use Scrypt)
That had nothing to do with Litecoin and had i held litecoin back then i would have kept them because i had no worries about their long term potential
Litecoin is not the same as it's shit clones like Feathercoin LOL

I screamed loud and clear that aside from the top 3 or something all scrypt clones were going to get fucking raped hard as hell.
and what did i hear unanimously from the altcoin scene idiots ?
Rampant belligerent idiotic excuses how Scrypt asics were going to make all scrypt coins magically super valuable.. MORONS ! LOL

i kept explaining in basic terms how is market saturation going to make something more valuable ?
And i got the same retard response across the board from all sources..

ALL of those dipshits are long gone and quiet now. ::)
I was 1,000% correct !

It's called common fucking god damn sense LOL
How the fuck do you open up the printing presses from say printing 1,000 $100 bills a day to 1 million $100 a day
and then NOT have the currency collapse.. how fucking stupid is all of crypto ?

@arbitrage001
You learned the hard way and don't tell me no one told you ahead of time ;)
Oh and by the way wanna blame someone ? Blame Tenebrix ;)

So u got burned and now you cry or whine or "hate".

Call it what you want but it is no ones fault for your bad decision making or timing. Nor is it litecoin's fault as it doesn't have a conscience to burn you.

Litecoin seems hard to get back to more than .02 ... now a .015 litecoin is very expensive
