Title: 3 x 7990 or 3 x 6870x2 on windows Post by: kilcondlost on April 07, 2012, 04:03:08 PM For the most part I keep reading that you cant have more than 5 gpus on a computer using windows. But I have seen a couple people say they are able to. I plan to either buy 3 x 7990 when they come out or 3 x powercolor 6870x2 to make a total of 6 gpus. I will be building the comptuer and this will be my first computer ever have been being built. Does anyone out there have a computer running 3 dual gpu cards on a windows operating system. If you do please, please let me know I just dont know my way around linux and figured to setup my first computer it would be easier installing and using windows. Thank you very much, Russell
