I guess I just find it weird that someone would join a forum for a topic that they disagree with or wish didn't exist? I only join forums where I like the subject matter. Pissing people off is fun too, but as an only reason for being there? Kinda weird, no?

They are only here because apparently years ago the Bitcointalk admins, in their infinite wisdom, decided that trolls should be able to have their day too... democracy, free speech and all that.

So now we have sock puppet accounts being created 193930293493 times a day, just to troll this sub forum and spam the boards with constant troll-crap.  And apparently they never get banned.  If if they do, the trolls just create another throwaway account and troll some more.

Meanwhile, positive people and bitcoin believers eventually get squeezed out and run off by all the crap posting.  So with all the good people run off, all that's left is the trolls basically just reading and commenting on their own threads.  A troll-bear circle jerk.

A true permabear would not be an active poster on bitcointalk (maybe just 1-2 posts to say how it will fail then they would probably leave). The posters that appear to be permabears on here are either trolling or attempting to manipulate the bitcoin sentiment of the people on these forums (many of which have a shiz load of bitcoins) for market manipulation.


People like faillling are such a joke at being a troll that I find it to be bullish for him/she/it to spend THAT much time discussing the "future failure" of bitcoin.

I think the people that say people are anti-bitcoin or permabear are just like the people who accuse those who sold as"panic selling" when everyone knew bitcoin was going down. True some people take it to the extremes and hate on bitcoin but it is much worse when bitcoin goes up 2 bucks and all the tooo the moon posts or when will bitcoin be 200000000 threads start popping up



At least fallings end of the world posts with stupid charts are mildly entertaining. All the buy/hold too the moon posts are just as annoying.

Ofc I'm not counting the numerous long-term-bulls that are occasionally bearish.

I'm anti what I think bitcoin will (has) become- centralised and controlled.

But I think the concept has value. I don't actually see any major drivers to push us to ATH either, though technical analysis seems to favour an increase over the medium-long term at least.

Disclaimer: Given prices, i´m a "perma-sceptic" since April ´13 and a "perma-bear" since November ´13.

But seriously. What is the advantage of using some "bockchain" vs. a simple database transaction?
Blockchain is bloody expensive and slow. Database is quick and efficient and cheap.
"Hot wallets" cannot be backed up. In case of an instrusion any theft is permanent.

Bitcoin prooves that a decentralised payment system is possible. But without decentralisation it is pure bullshit.
So, please provide information what BTC provides over a centralised system.

The following dont count:
* Fixed monetary supply.
  Reason: The "share holders" (and that happen to be the miners) decide what transactions are legit. Higher fees and/or further output of coins are possible if the mayority of miners collude.
* Anonymity:
  Bitcoin never was anonymous. It was pseudonymous. If or how many mixing pools are operated by gov institutions is up for debate, but even if it hasnt been done before it it highly likely law enforcemant will target money laundry (and face it, that pretty much the definition of "mixing pools")

So, please do tell me why bitcoin is better than "PayPal", "PerfectMoney", etc..

I am not personally anti-bitcoin nor am I a "permabear" however I would imagine that these types of people are likely somewhat interested in bitcoin and are somewhat interested in the technical aspects of bitcoin and the economy behind bitcoin. This would really not so much explain the anti-bitcoin group but would explain why the permabears are here.
