Title: What about BitClix ad service?
Post by: Lionel on August 27, 2014, 09:56:33 AM
Hi,
i found a CPC/CPM advertising service called bitclix.com that seems to be a CoinURL/a-ads alternative and i've even seen their ad campaigns working on a publisher site, but strangely enough there is not any official announcement here on bitcointalk which introduces it.

I've tried to register at their site but their banner code does not work for me, and they don't reply to the email.

Anyone has dealt with them or tried their service??

Another thing: Bitclix site is almost identical to CoinHD, maybe the owner is the same

Ok mate i'm happy for you... but WHO is the admin??
I need to talk to him to solve the issue

And who's the admin of CoinHD? I'm sure he's the same guy

I recently spotted an ad for this service. Their site isn't very helpful.
A google search turned up a little info.
The current domain owners (registrant private) bought this domain name in Feb of this year for US$5000. Registered through GoDaddy and hosted in the US. On May 3rd of this year there was a "Coming soon" page at the site so they obviously went live sometime after that.
So they are new and I couldn't find any reviews.
Maybe the Professor could give a little more detail. ;)

oh my gosh i solved the issue while playing around with the ad slot...:)

well i must say it looks very crappy &buggy and support don't reply , not a good sign!  >:(

now i'll try publishing the ads on my site and we'll see if it is a good alternative to coinurl and a-ads

Professor, are you the owner of that thing? it looks so from the way you write  ::)
Please improve it a little bit because it looks amateurish and i hope it's no scam

Let's try it and see

How much was the earnings?

and they pay for cpc or cpm?

Title: Re: What about BitClix ad service?
Post by: neoneros on September 29, 2014, 12:16:13 PM
Not realy clear, I think it is per click, I have three ads and so far at 2000 views with 3 click average they pay between 51 and 7000 bits (5,100/700,000 satoshi) So not bad compared to other ad services like adbit and a-ads.

how much do you have to wait until you see the stats appearing at your account?

like 6 hours (that's 2k views at least) and nothing happened.

the banner is working but no stats at all.

Title: Re: What about BitClix ad service?
Post by: neoneros on October 01, 2014, 09:36:44 AM
Not sure how it works, it updates at a certain time and I am under the impression earnings are queed before they are approved, like with coinurl, where payments await approval and stay pending for two or more days, but it is not at all transparent what is happening, but something is and it is still paying well, believe me  ;D

Be patient and don't bet on one horse when publishing ads, I have trhee different ad providers to spread the risk if one of them goes belly up.

might risk it again with another account, but they seem to be all knowing..

Also the statistics tab on my account is empty.
Everythig is blank ??? ??? ???

Please if this works for someone, then can he explain to me how to work with this site.

Thanks

The site works, it came out soon after CoinHD, which lead me to believe that it is the same owner and definitely the same script.

I've been paid before but the rate is unpredictable as some days I earn nothing!
Anyway, hopefully, they will continue to pay.

Also, like the members above can attest...the site statistic details are severely lacking.
There are lots to be desired in this program.

Did they expel you because for them a faucet is poor in content?
Try enriching it with some articles before trying again with adsense or they'll block you again

You have to wait a few days to see the earnings, maybe because the admin has to approve your site at the beginning

I have more sites than just my faucet, they did not state a reason for it, just that there was a violation of the terms, did appeal to it, asking for more clarity about the reason so I could address the problem, but they stated they would not change their point of view and closed the case.

the 3 click average is what I get on other add providers with decent stats, so I assume this average goes for the bitclix adds as well

Ahahah are you the owner yes??

"Great" is exaggerated because you are paying me less than one third of my clicks/impressions, it's evident even if you don't show them on the stats but i roughly know what is my traffic and performance

That is called stealing

Please fix this or people will start flooding the internet with negative reviews and your business will die.
You've just started the service i don't think u wanna die so early

and i never got answered at their contact form.

gonna wait 5 more days if not starting see some good results daily. i will just remove it like all the other references to the family like coinhd and etc.

wait a few days but if things still go badly .... let's start doing some action:

1- i suggest you another one which have positive reviews around the web: Qadabra
I think i'll replace bitclix with qadabra.
I am also using PropellerAds which seems reliable but i have not received the first payment yet, will let you know

2- spread the forums with negative reviews about bitclix and other scammers like them

3- find all the sites which are publishing bitclix ads and tell them about the scam

you guys shuold try Paidverts, its the best PTC now, ROT within 2 month if you got the tutorial. Im tried and did it :)

It's a totally different thing, they don't pay you to place their ads in your site.

They directly pay the visitors for clicking on banners on paidverts.com, that's about it.

It is not a fair comparison, bitclix is peanuts compared to google, but it is quite untransparent, it even serves adbit adds, they are making money using methods they do not explain. The support is lacking feedback, though they seem to take action on requests.

it could be a nice service if it invests some more time, I prefer bitcoin paying adds over the dollar adds, just for the sake of bitcoin.

There was an error once in the amount to be paid out, it was holding up my other payments, reported it and it was fixed, but no feedback whatsoever. I have suggested to get active on this forum, but nothing yet. The pay rate is dropping rapidly, so I think it will be exit soon for bitclix.

Stats are added to the publishers pages, but they seem a bit off, if I compare them to my analytics and other ad service stats they are a bit bizare even.

My analytics and other stats imply a steady 2000+ visitors/impressions each day. The bitclix stats vary from 7000 to 200000(?!) impressions, the latter on a day my analytics show a drop in visitors. The difference might be that sometimes they show 4 adds on a row in stead of one big one. But it still is strange. The click average seems to be correct though.

I'm using Bitclix on one of my sites with same problem as you. Only a blank stats page after a week.

I would advice the owner of Bitclix to at least let he's site display some stats for new publishers because it doesn't look very trustworthy when there is nothing after a week (blank stats).

Does it display any information on the stats page for you or only what you made under earnings?

It displays how many clicks, but that's all. Doesn't say which ad the user has clicked.

oh my gosh i solved the issue while playing around with the ad slot...:)

well i must say it looks very crappy &buggy and support don't reply , not a good sign!  >:(

now i'll try publishing the ads on my site and we'll see if it is a good alternative to coinurl and a-ads

Professor, are you the owner of that thing? it looks so from the way you write  ::)
Please improve it a little bit because it looks amateurish and i hope it's no scam

Let's try it and see

Glad you sort it out . I'am interessted.
Are the rates like Google Adsense ?, what are the payments rates please ? and does our websites need to be Bitcoin related ? or it dosen't matter at all.

I have also signed up with this service and have seen no stats for 4 days. My site does not have a large amount of traffic, but it would be nice to at least see that their software is recording the impressions and any clicks that do happen.

standard is 10000 per click, did get more when they just started. My clicks end up around 1 a day, compared to other ad services(a-ads and adbit.co) that is not much, they bring up 60.0000 per day, for an average of 3 clicks. But every bit(coin) counts :)

Yes, they only pay for clicks. No views, only clicks. Also, most of the ads are text ads, not picture ads.

my stats say I got 6 clicks, the total paid per click is 12 bits, the minimum payment for advertisers per click is 200, so that would mean that 188 bits are going to the bitclix owner, thats a bit off isn't it?  :o

What is happening to bitclix?

Most of the time ads will not load, the ads that do load are those bitclix redirects to adbit.co and does not pay the publisher for.
My stats on the bitclix are way off compared to my analytics and other ad providers.
Pay per click is down to 10 bits while they recieve 200 from the advertisers.

Bitclix is cashing in big and not sharing to those publishing the ads. Will give it a week or the ads are gone.

This is happening to me too. Bitclix is acting really funny, I used to be payed around 400-800 bits per click, now it's down to around 10-50. Like others, I would recommend www.bitmedia.io as an alternative, they are great, and they have nice pay rates.

Did they still pay?
If yes.

They do pay, payouts are almost instant when you reach the cashout rate, but like stated above, bitclix has been acting really funny recently.

Bitclix doesn't pay me much anymore, when I started I got around 80,000 satoshis per click, but now I only get 1000-2000 satoshis per click for some reason. For this reason, I removed bitclix ads from my site.

We pay out every day so it is impossible for us to "scam" anyone for an extended period time. Most sites that get banned are junk faucets that send extremely low quality traffic. It would be unfair to our advertisers and other publishers to allow these sites to participate in our network. We try to respond to all publishers who have legitimate accounts with us. If you feel your site has been unfairly banned please post your site's url and we will investigate.

As for the missing payments... it was one day in July when we were paying out over $1.20 per click and our hot wallet got drained. All accounts were reimbursed within 24 hours.

sorry man,

check this:

April 20!

It's not correct say: We reply! I have left a lot of messages and never you replies!
Also you close my account without any motivation or so on.

Last, not all faucets get "bad traffic".... and start to not pay and not to accept & pay some days and then got some free visitors!!!

For me it's a negative service.
Change the tos, give "clear" advice, reject site during registration and so on.

We don't respond to accounts that get banned for sending fake clicks because it just allows fraudsters to decode our anti-fraud measures. Any faucet can join our network, but if it sends fake clicks it will be banned quickly. Payouts are every 24 hours so it is impossible for us to "scam" anyone beyond 1 day. If you feel your site got banned unfairly just post the url here and we will check to see if it was a mistake.

I'll never send any fake click because I have two faucets with high traffic! (4000 users daily and more).

If you can demonstrate that I make fake clicks or fake visitors from my sites I will do pubblic excuse to you and your service, but I am pretty confident of what I am telling here.

If my sites get banned without any plausible reasons what do you want to do?

I left your banners for more than 2 weeks without earning a satoshi!

Many faucets receive fake clicks from bots even if the owner is unaware. It is easy for us to detect this type of fake traffic and we cannot allow such sites to participate in our network because it is unfair to advertisers and other publishers. We cannot go into details of our anti-fraud measures because then they will just be bypassed by scammers. Our system makes clear when an account is banned and the most anyone can lose is 1 day of earning if non-human clicks are detected. There are other ad networks that do not detect or ban this type of low quality traffic, you may want to try those instead.

Dear Bitclix,
yes ok assume that some traffic, it's a fake traffic....

-Why not send any communication?
-Why you don't turn off IMMEDIATELY the banners IF you see some fake traffic (and this waste your business as told before)?
-Why NEVER REPLY to any ticket&email&message and also you reply in this topic after just 4 months!!!

And you change the situation, like:

- site banned for poor traffic (19milion on alexa etc....) = yes after 4 months it's a nice :D proof!

- your site get fake traffic (I will stop you because you waste our business etc ) = I continue banner loading for a couple of week then turn off and ban    your account without any explanation, or giving any warning, and never reply to a message!

My experience it's so clear, you have also confirmed ALL, trying to change the situation and some issues.

Change your way to communicate and help your customers, maybe I (and other people too here) can modify mine (our) bad impression in your site.

Thank you

I'm glad you received your payments. Most likely it was a delay in confirmations due to the tx stress test. In the future please just use or contact form for payment issues. We try very hard to get the highest payouts we can but when people see these false scam accusations it makes it more difficult to gain advertisers.
