Thanks to ScryptHasher I joined the site and the rains were impressive.  He also helped new users out by giving them 10K Reddcoin so they could get to level 1 and actually get the rain.  If the site takes off thanks to what happened 24 hours ago, you owe him a lot of thanks.

While I was impressed and grateful I think there are lots of opportunities to improve your "chain" of sites.  I'd add a bet all button.  Not that I often bet all of my coins, but it can help if you want to martingale, you can bet all and then hit one half six, ten, or twelve times (or whatever) to see how long of a loss streak you'll be able to survive.

I would also add divest all and invest all.  Since investment is constantly changing it is hard to type in exactly how many coins you have invested.  When I gamble, I want to divest my coins so I'm not shooting against myself.

I do appreciate the clearly laid out levels.  At least there is little spam in chat.

Just wanted to vouch for the site and Alex. I have been playing on here, well.... mostly losing on here due to my 98% fascination :D.

We have a real nice bunch of folks on the site and chat is lively most times, begging is frowned upon, just like any other site.

Some things for Newbies:


1) Do not BEG, there are quite a few kind users on chat who will send you some RDD to start off with. Begging will lead to an immediate ban.

2) The Numbers next to our names is the current level we are on, you need to be level 1 and up to get some coins from the rainbot, the higher your level, the more %age coins from the rainbot. No other benefit i can see beside swag value :D. To move up levels, you need to wager a set amount. For example to reach level 1, you need to wager 10001 RDD and so on and so forth, check help on the site for details.

3) Rains happen every hour provided the rainbot has a minimum of 10000 RDD in it. Where does the rainbot get them? From users like us! When the rainbot announces that it is going to rain, to get some coins through the rain, simply ensure you are level 1 and above and then say something in chat, a simple "hello" would suffice.

4) To send RDD to the rainbot, type /rain (amount). Feeding the rainbot should be an obligation really, giving back is always good and anyhow this is the essence of REDD. Don't have to feed all you got back, a 10% feed should be adequate.

5) To tip someone, this is the format: /tip (User ID) (Amount). Remember, copy and paste the user ID, if you try typing R1234, it will not work. user id will look something like this:  Ɍ1234. Example: /tip Ɍ1234 100 (this sends 100 coins to the user id Ɍ1234).

6) There is trivia held on the chatroom from time to time and you have a chance of earning anywhere from a 100 REDD right up to 100000 REDD. So watch the chatroom. Much better to earn some coins rather than begging, if you do decide to beg, read point 1. :)

7) Withdrawals are immediate and so are deposits. Fee for withdrawal is 1 RDD.

8) If still in doubt, post your question on the chatroom, lot of willing folks to answer them.

some folks on the chats also do trades, you may want to try... but they will expect you to send first.. you can sell DOGE, BTC for RDD AFAIK.

It is probably worth pointing out that the site now has an affiliated exchange, simple swap, that you can use to get reddcoin, doge, litecoin or even bitcoin.  This is a very nice feature though there is a 2% fee.  Still, makes it easy to get started if you want to check it out.

I thought I would give this thread a little bump.  Reddcoin is down about 40% from when the site started and it is fun to gamble with lots of nothing.

There is no faucet, the subject line is mistaken, but there is a rainbot.  You will need an initial stake to get to level 1 before you can get rain though.  Simpleswap has been a bit fussy, but Alex has always made things right.

Micky's FAQ is very good and worth reading over.
