Title: Hardware Deals thread Post by: haploid23 on April 08, 2012, 07:10:31 PM I'll try to organize a more centralized way to post deals on hardware since I noticed this forum does not have a section for that.

Title: Re: Hardware Deals thread Post by: zvs on April 09, 2012, 05:02:23 AM XFX HD6870 1GB (with free Dirt3 game) - $140 AR @ newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150521) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150561 as far as I can tell, those cards are the exact same, except this one is smaller (8.66" x 4.4" x 1.5" vs 10.3" x 4.4" x 1.5"), says "AMD Advanced Parallel Processing Technology (APP)" in features while the other one does not, and is $10 cheaper instead of including Dirt are there some other diff between the models? Title: Re: Hardware Deals thread Post by: haploid23 on May 13, 2012, 12:08:36 PM Haven't been updating this, but I just ran into this card and bought one today. Seems like the best ratio of price per mh/s. It's currently OOS, but just order one and they'll only charge you once it comes back in stock and ships. One of the nice features about amazon is that some stuff you can still order even though it's out of stock to reserve one at the sale price. I'll also add this to the first post. Btw, if you didn't already know, the 6670 is the exact rebranded name of the 5670.
