Title: lowest price per gh/s ?
Post by: vortexz on August 28, 2014, 05:27:41 AM
What is the manufacter that has lowest price per gh/s right now ?
I will not have to pay for electricity so I don't care about efficiency, all I care is about how much TH/S I could get for a cheap price.
I was thinkin about : http://hashra.com/moonrakerwarp3/ , but i've heard not so good things about HASHRA, + this is a pre-order, I would like something from stock.

The cheapest for a unit on hand is bitmaintech in my opinion or the asic miner tube but for them you have to buy 10 minimum.

what is asic miner tube ? do you have a link ?

bitmaintech is expensive, 0.58 btc for ony 453 GH/S, plus it does not have a PSU

I've noticed this:

http://www.x-hash.com/pro/a1

I could get 10 TH/S for a relative low price with immediate delivery. it is 609 per unit per 1 TH/S including PSU.

If you say that blindly you're making a mistake.  You can buy ancient BFL and Avalon gear and even S1s for less than current hardware costs.  The problem would be that they would exhaust so much heat you would need to expend money cooling solutions.

What you mean to say is for new hardware with <1.5W/GH/s, who is the cheapest.

You're probably making a huge mistake if you order from Xhash... or from any company that doesn't have an active thread in the Hardware subforum.

Please do your research or you WILL get burned.

+1 to this.

Many manufacturers send Dogie a sample unit for review.  Also if ckolivas and luke-jr aren't writing updates for the miner then it is probably vaporware unless the company can show their code.

If it's not on this list you're asking for trouble:

If you wanna mine cloud i think the better are PBMING.com and CHABATMINING.com

But if you wanna buy SHA contracts remember the diff change 15% every 14days...a lot.

Maybe, for now, is better mine scrypt cloud

Take a look on eBay as they offer cheap services there sometimes.

If you want one yourself, I wouldn't know which ones are cheap.

Aside from the solid advice given here...

What you failed to notice is the extra zero on the end of the price -
" Price: 6090.00USD"

they are charging Six Dollars and nine cent per GH.... WALK AWAY

Bitmain miners are solid and reliable. They ship when they say they will.
SpoondooliesTech if you want to preorder.
or if you are happy with self assembly -  AM tubes shipping now-ish.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735728.msg8310763#msg8310763 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735728.msg8310763#msg8310763).
Also Look at BTCGarden or KNC or Lighteningasic or Bitcrane or or or....
Or maybe even consider MegaBigPower Franchisee
To see what you are up against - here is 5% of the worlds hashing power in one place - www.thecoinsman.com/2014/08/bitcoin/inside-one-worlds-largest-bitcoin-mines/ (http://www.thecoinsman.com/2014/08/bitcoin/inside-one-worlds-largest-bitcoin-mines/)
Best of luck what ever you decide ;-)

That's the price for 10 units.

Oh - I do feel foolish now  :-[ -  thanks for highlighting my error. My inability to read, notwithstanding... I still would be wary of an unproven seller, at least until there is some evidence of their boxes hashing and them actually shipping. Anyone had any dealing with X-hash?

So should we order from x-hash? High risk?

They are a less known seller but they have delivered before and are partnered with gridseed so i don't think the risk is low. If you are concerned with risk buy the asicminer tubes or the bitmain S3+

Do you have free air conditioners, exhaust fans and PSUs as well?  Can I have some?

That is not good enough for today's mining difficulty..
