Title: Cryptsy ~ Some fishy happenings Post by: coinbuyer2580 on August 29, 2014, 07:22:42 AM I made a deposit to cryptsy about 5~6 hours ago which hasn't shown up in even the pending transactions status of my account. The coins I deposited to my cryptsy address were promptly moved to another account number almost immediately after it was confirmed.

Customer service is Nul I feel like I have been scammed IMO, it is normal to see no reply from the support yet as I don't expect they have a 24/7 online support team. I don't understand what kind of institution can operate without a backup. It absolutely should not take 3-4 days to update the blockchain which is the excuse I keep hearing.

On a side note this post was moved to scam accusations, I am not saying cryptsy is a scam but they definitely do not want to take responsibility for some ineptness happening behind the scenes. "I apologize for the inconvenience. We had a server outage last night and many wallets are involved. Network Admin and BigVern worked through the night to get things back online with new server and we are now adding wallets to the server, redownloading the chains and getting them back in service. We ask for your patience as we do this.
