Title: Can't get profit from GTX 750ti
Post by: psi777X on August 29, 2014, 12:38:20 PM
As far as I know, and I researched this deeply, my GTX 750 ti has to be the most profitable GPU card today.
The problem is whan I checking in this site http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators it says that almost any coin is not profitable for me. The only coin that says it profitablr for me is pheonixcoin and the developers said that I can't mine this coin by GPU anymore.

Is there no profit by in crypto currencies even if I got the best GPU?

dead place, no profit anymore, my last mined coin was flex, turn out to be garbage without profit, i can't even recover energy cost by a lot like 5:1 ratio lol

None of the algo is profitable now. Sell you gpu before the value drop

Bullshit. Get real.
Use GPUs and your computers for what they are worth. Play on it. Work on it. GTX750 is funny!

So if I don't have ASIC miner at least, then mininig isn't worth it?

Currently, (assuming you pay for power) it will make a very small return if at all. The time to ROI hardware is getting longer and longer by the day. Something drastic would have to happen to the entire crypto community for this to change.

ASIC has no ROI even if you have free hosting and free electricity.

Unless you get huge discount when buying, you should consider the entire venture as an expense rather than a revenue.

If the facts are like that now, what is the meaning behind mining crypto coins?
Is it the hope that one day the banks won't control out money or everyone just hoping that their coin will gain value one day?

Why crypto currencies don't get enough value?
Is it becuase there are too many kinds of coins outside now?

Got any examples that make decent profit on a 750 Ti?

None, every algo profitability is so low now. Shutting down your GPU is more profitable.

or here is a better option, just jump on coin launch's like i do. single antminer 200ghs miner earnt before the price jump of ssd about 0.33 btc in the time that i mined it. just because most other coins are down low does not mean its worth shutting down. just hit new coins all the time. dump the shit ones and hold the good ones for better days.

I stopped my rigs last month even though when I had cheap electricity. GPU mining doesn't make sense with current scenario.

Try mining some at this moment profitable coin.

This is tough decision to sell it also is option. So make wise choice about it.

Sadly day's of GPU are dead for most.  I had to part my cards out, and switched to all asics.

Just to much heat and removal, plus electricity on GPU's to make it profitable.  And that does not include all the time you spend on rigs if you are decent sized, and RMA time not mining.

I have 4 gpu's (2-270x & 2-7970) and I made $300 in btc this past month.. electricity cost was around $100. Maybe I'm doing my math wrong, but that seems like profit... hmm.

I assume you just paid for one of your 270x, keep doing that for at least 6 months then you can talk about profit.
Unless you got them all for free.

The last month profitability is much higher then this week. Good luck..
