Tired of the same ol' dice and wheel games out there?  We were.  We set out to create something simple and fun.  Whoopity doo to the days of 1-2x payout.  With our Raffle Style system, winners are guaranteed very large payouts! 90x the entry fee!!  Losing isn't so bad either...We have very low fee entry games, starting at .0005 btc.  This means anyone can play, and win big!

Games and winning big are great, but they don't mean $hit if they are not fair.  We developed a provably fair system to determine winners and post how it works on the site.  You can predict the outcome of every game we run and make sure we are not cheating!  This also protects you from others trying to cheat the games.  Every game is fair, every game pays.  Read more how we are provably fair http://99losers.com/misc/fair

To start off we are limiting games to a maximum entry fee of .002 btc the winner is paid .18 btc.  Once we are confident the system is as good as we can make it, we will raise the limits a bit more for even more exciting wins!  We will also implement some new features and give aways as we progress.

We are considering a small investment opportunity for a few lucky people.  Details will be furnished later on this as we want to focus on game operations to bring the best experience to the players as possible.

The payouts could be a bit higher than 75x..Maybe at some point in the future i'll toss in some coins.

You got it.  It is a lottery/raffle type game.  100 people enter per game, 1 person wins, 99 lose.

So 100 people enter a game with same amount let's say 0.001 each so 100 x 0.001 = 0.1 and winner gets all??

Your provably fair algo is flawed as it doesn't protect the users from being cheated by the last player.

I can create a program to monitor the game address until it has 99 players and then start generating addresses until I find one that will make me the winner.

You are partly right, after some thought.  You are wrong in the fact you cannot generate an address to send from.  Your client, or you, have to spend previous outputs, these cannot be generated by you unless you continually send yourself coins in attempt to generate an output that could win.  This output would have to contain enough coin for the game or it might not be selected as the payment address if multiple previous outputs are used.

So technically yes, this could be achieved through lots of work and many (possibly 100's) of txn fees to the network.

I have come up with a method to account for this and will post an update when the code is in place.

Ok, I'm starting to think you really should spend some time to learn more about Bitcoin.

An address can be generated without the need to send coins to it.

What I will need to do is find the address that will make me the winner and create 2 raw transactions, one sending my coins to the newly generated address and another to send from the newly generated address to you game address.

Maybe :)  But I have addressed the issue with your concern and posted a fix.  Timestamp is now used to pad the initial hash so you would have to know the exact second the site scripts picked up the final transaction and corresponding address for that second.

Fair enough.  How about we take the transaction id of the final payment and use that to pad the initial hash instead?  This could not be known by anyone until it was too late, negating the ability of the last person to generate a winning address.

If the payout is 90x, then 100 people entering at 0.001 each means 100 x 0.001 = 0.1 is collected for the game, but the winner only gets 90 x 0.001 = 0.09.


If 1 out of 100 people win, then your chance to win is 0.01 or 1%.  0.01% means 0.0001.

To the owner: this is an interesting idea, but are you going to keep many players?  I would guess that a lot of people will play a few times and then get frustrated because they don't win anything.

Using raw transactions (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Raw_Transactions) you can know the transaction hash before sending it to the network

In this situation I would alter my program to now generate raw transactions (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Raw_Transactions) until I find one that the transaction hash would make my address the winner address.

The Dice games are better probabilities, but for one lucky person they come ahead with this game.

If I am lucky I can get a 9900x payout on primedice...who would be ahead in that case  :P

dice games, like all casino games the house always wins eventually.  At 99losers, players always leave ahead of the house.  We just facilitate the transfer of wealth among the players.

Only person winning there is the house, not the players.  99losers promotes players spreading the coin among each other, not to one house.
