I would say the maximum that is acceptable to premise is < 5% Title: Re: premine Post by: Cboy on August 31, 2014, 10:54:01 AM The lower the better . I think 3-5% would be fine.
Title: Re: premine Post by: fast2fix on August 31, 2014, 11:20:57 AM i don't think so anyone would work for your until paid in bitcoins and the premine should be <1%.
Title: Re: premine Post by: Willisius on August 31, 2014, 11:54:33 AM 0% is perfectly acceptable. Anything else is doomed from the start :\

I doubt anyone will accept a small percentage of your coin if you plan to get someone else to code and create the coin for you. Title: Re: premine Post by: Lauda on August 31, 2014, 01:39:17 PM The less the better actually. Although I'm not touching any IPO or premined coins even if it is 0.1% premine.
I'd say 1-3% is acceptable for most. Title: Re: premine Post by: dracolumina on August 31, 2014, 09:40:56 PM the coding of the coin will be by me, was talking about for a little bit later. My thought is to do a no frills basic scrypt coin that will be the basis for the currency of the webgame I am developing (round based, round runs for 7 to 10 days and half of what is spent goes into the jackpot for the winner) Which is why I need a little bit of it premined so I can set a "minimum" jackpot and run the game for a few rounds with the jackpot. Then the community can decide how much the jackpot is worth by trading the coins around on exchanges.
Should be doing an announcement here in a few days about it. dracolumina |
